Went there on Saturday before moving our son into school at WCU because Speedy?s was closed. It wasn?t busy, but there was a... group ordering at the bar so we sat down and began looking over the menu. Pretty cool place with an open kitchen and aninteresting pizza oven.\n\nNot getting any attention from the staff my wife asked a girl In a ?I?m a salty bitch? t-shirt? (veryfitting) if we could place our order and she rudely told us we had to order at the end of the bar. Ok, so we were about to dothat but the guy operating the oven took our order. He was great. We ordered 4 small pizza?s and an order of cheese bread, twocan sodas, two waters and a beer for myself. There was no ice for the water which was not cold and we had to get our drinksourselves. Mind you, they had a tip jar and we paid for our food and tips as we ordered. Whatever\n\n?Salty? brought out ourfood individually and I couldn?t help but notice she was very unhappy doing her job and made us feel like we were doingsomething wrong being there.\n\nAt one time she was taking food to another table which portions of the order almost fell off ofthe tray. An individual that was sitting at the bar used his unwashed hands to keep the food from falling.\n\nThe pizza was ok,a little unevenly cooked but ok. Unfortunately the service and the attitude tainted our experience.\n\nNeedless to say, we willnot be returning. Read more
This was quite literally the best pizza I\'ve eaten in a very long time!! The crust is perfect, not too thin and not too thick... with just the right amount of crispy woodfire! I got the apple pizza and my husband got the spicy Italian, both were fantastic!!They did take about 20 to 25 minutes to get to the table but the service was great! The staff is along the super laid back crowdbut by no means we\'re they rude or inattentive. We just went next door to the microbrewery and had a beer out on the deckoverlooking the creek while we waited. I got the apricot peach pale and it was very tasty!! The brewery offers tastinggenerously. I\'m gonna be dreaming about this pizza when we go home! The music was good and not too loud. The bathrooms couldsurely use a deep cleaning inside the brewery but they do have hand sanitizer all around. The parking is limited. I highlyrecommend these two places for a relaxing lunch and some good chatting with friends! Read more
Do not recommend. 1. Couldn\'t call to place an order. The number on their website is not correct. 2. Pizza is overpriced, by... a lot. 3. Service is poor. Person taking my order dismissively told me they were out of this, out of that, etc. Obviously havesome management issues. 4. Ordered my pizza to go, and it was unceremoniously plopped down in front of me, only to have to go inand ask for a to go box. 5. crust was burned. Paid 17 bucks for a lousy pizza and bad service. Waited for a little over two hours for an order that was finished at some point and was just sitting off to the side cold. Food... that we ordered to eat in the restaurant was never delivered. At no point the entire time we were sitting there at the veryfront by the register did anyone ask us why we were just sitting there waiting or whether we needed anything. The order itselfwas wrong. When we asked about our order and the server realized that the boxes just sitting there cold were ours, we weredismissively told that she wasn?t the one that took our initial order. I hate to leave any negative reviews, but this was prettybad as far as customer service and food quality goes. I wouldn?t recommend this place. Read more
