The service was top tier and the food a blessing from god
Today was my first time to Booker's. We were greeted at the door by well mannered young men. The menu is simple, but perfect. My... friend and I had the smothered pork chop with homemade brown gravy, Mac n cheese and Mashed potatoes with gravy. She had theChicken n Dressin', fried okra and Mac n cheese. Sweet tea for the both of us. Needless to say we are so full and willdefinitely be back. The food actually tasted like it was home made. Instead of saying it is and tastes like it is out of thefreezer or a box. Keep up the good work and we loved looking at all the Sylacauga pictures on the way. Nice touch. My wife and I went there yesterday for lunch expecting BBQ but didn't see any on the menu. What we did find was good home... Southern cooking. I had the chicken and dressing and it was excellent. Read more
It is rare you order something and it is the best you had of that variety but in this case the fried pork chop and the hamburger... steak with the best I've ever had. Very friendly staff very clean I highly recommend you give this place a try Read more

First time Bookers for some home cookin. Food was great! The pork chops were fried just right with a crisp, flaky crust. ... Steamed cabbage, with fresh pepper sauce, and mac and cheese rounded out the meal. Can't wait to try the Ox Tails next! Read more
