Food was very tasty, barbecue was also on point. Very busy place probably due to how popular they are. The wait staff seemed... pretty busy and it wasn't clear who our server really was, drinks ran dry and had to wait awhile for refills. The salads werealso delicious and the steaks were fantastic! For the amount of money you spend I would figure better service would be in order.However, would definitely recommend this place for the best barbecue in the area, well food overall actually!! Service was good, food was fine. Overpriced for what it is. Dining room is much more "home style" than the menu prices are. Not... bad, but be prepared to spend $30 on a steak or $20 on a plate of catfish that'd be half the price at some other places.Portions are at least generous. Read more
Not the same place it used to be. ???? A few years back, I came here with family that lived in Sweetwater. This place was a... hopping place with with folks that were excited about their customers, and the place was packed during dinner hours. The foodmade the place the talk of the town. The bbq was the best, and the steaks were seasoned hot and juicy. Today, the place waspractically empty, there were several youngsters that I felt were only there for a paycheck. The atmosphere was completelydifferent. The food... it was good, but not what it used to be. Our "new world" is sadly affecting even the best places. Read more
I think I am spoiled because to me everything was dry and flavorless. Our family does a lot of BBQ and I love checking out local... BBQ when traveling but I won't be going back. Very friendly, fast service, kids menu, cuts the meat in front of you. Brisket wasdry, corn bread with jalapenos is dry and flavorless, beans were under cooked, however the macaroni salad was good and so wasthe potato salad. Was not worth the price.
