I wish I could give more stars, it was a top notch breakfast. We got banana-berry foster french toast and the Farmhouse omelet... and scrapple which were all cooked to perfection. We met the owner Scott and it was a pleasure to chat with him. Our waitresswas attentive and very pleasant. I highly recommend eating here, the ingredients were super fresh. Very nice place. Food was good. The people and service was extraordinary. Food was what you'd expect for a small family-run... diner/cafe. Breakfast menu was pretty simple - no Eggs Benedict or pancakes/waffles, and no espresso drinks, but it had a niceselection of omelettes, french toast and other basics, all of which were super tasty. This place is Amazing! We met the owner and he was so nice. The atmosphere is great and so is the food. We had the banana berry... foster and it was to die for! So were the homemade muffins! I highly recommend this place for everybody!! Read more
I despise undercooked breakfast potatoes and was delighted to meet my match of perfection. They carried a slight sweet hint in... flavoring. Maybe from the oil they use, a tad of coriander, a sweet paprika, sumac? Truly unsure, but kept guessing until theywere gone. The omelet's fluffiness, texture, consistency, amount of cheese, amazingly fresh bacon, tomatoes, and drizzled petitekick in sauce to compliment. The only downside was the avocado, definitely on its way out the door. A disappointment when itencompasses the dish and its title, "Avo-lanche". Lastly the slice of watermelon was a refreshing end, a nice touch to cleansethe palate. Read more
Service, excellent Menu, excellent Food quality, excellent Hiked the trails of Crum Woods and went there for lunch. The grilled... ham and cheese was perfect absolutely perfect. The signature side was like grandma used to make, chopped carrots and celery inmacaroni salad. If you feel Ms yourself I'm Swarthmore, you have to try this place. Read more
