My first time ever trying this place out since they reopened. The staff are all very welcoming and you're greeted multiple times... before you even get all the way thru the door. Multiple options to choose from if you don't want buffet. The food is AMAZING!!!Hands down the BEST squash casserole and sweet potato casserole I've ever had! Not to mention the home welcoming service, thewaitress was very kind and nice. And my daughter loved her pink hair, she's been talking about it ever since. Made sure we hadour drinks and bellies full. She seemed to be doing an awful lot and helping out the other staff with other things. And alwayscleaning!! Which is a huge plus in my book! (We stayed a few extra mins after we got done eating just to observe the newatmosphere) wonderful job done by those ladies.. Kudos to the new owners and management! My experience was great. Yesterday was pork chop day and I almost forgot. So I got my 2 pork chops and warm them up in my air... fryer today and you talking about something was Good!!!???? I Love everything I eat there!!! Read more
My experience was extremely appetizing. Food was great as well as service. I will give them an A+ on clean establishment to come... sit down and enjoy a meal. I like it when they prepare your meal for you with gloves on. Read more
Went to try out since new ownership. Buffet looked slim picking and they were sold out of hash. Buffet is $20 ....little steep... in a small town. Young lady at register was kind and welcoming. Read more
We have eaten in and done carry out also. Everything tasted great and was fresh and hot. The BBQ was top shelf with no fat,... tender and juicy. The fried chicken was cooked just right and has a very tasty crust. The ribs and hash are also very good. Wealso had several sides and an extra dozen hush puppies. All the sides were very good. Don't let the outside of this no frills joint fool you. Inside, the all you can eat buffet of southern cuisine, is absolutely... delicious! You pay when you enter, the line for the buffet forming on the right. The buffet includes hash & rice, mashedpotatoes, assorted vegetables & casseroles seasoned to perfection, tender ribs, crispy fried chicken, pulled pork , etc. Theyhave a salad bar that is top notch too. Try the ambrosia! Staff is friendly and efficient, every bit of the place was spotless.I didn't ask but I believe they may even have some type of takeout, pickup system as a heard a bell ring occasionally whilethere... Now I don?t know if it was because I came at 8 o?clock and it closes at nine, but the food was lukewarm and tasted like... somebody?s leftovers. Another elderly couple that came in shortly behind me around 8:20 and they seemed like they were rushingto get everybody out I thought it was kind a rude.I tried a little bit of everything The best thing was the cabbage the greenbeans in the homemade pork rinds. The chicken was good but not any better than anybody else. I was kind of excited because Iheard that the ribs were good but they tasted like they were boiled and then seasons. As I said everything even the meat exceptthe chicken was lukewarm. I would not go back unless I was super hungry and had no other way to warm and ate food up. Read more
Canned vegetables, small portions, mashed up barbecue in sauce- definitely not pulled pork. Very disappointing stop- will not be... returning or recommending to others. We ate it because we were hungry, but the other reviews on here were not what weexperienced. Read more
