First time visiting the restaurant. The menu outstanding, the food phenomenal, snd and the staff superb. We tried the new... England clam chowder, the fish and chips, and the fish special (a bit of everything). These were excellent. One beer each toaccompany the entrees. Dessert to go. Give them a try. So I go in today and sat at the bar. The girl bartender seemed nice when she took my order. Food comes and look good. So 25... minutes later she doesn't ask if I needed any condiments for my food or any utensils to cut up my burger. She was too busytalking to only four other people at the bar which it wasn't busy. Her lack of performance was lousy in the hospitalitybusiness. It's pretty sad that I got to ask for utensils and salt pepper and ketchup and could I get another drink. I mean theregulars that go there that sit at the bar get better service than someone that's new going up into that place and grabbing somefood to eat. Read more

This was our first and last experience ordering food from this restaurant. We ordered a fish sandwich and a chicken Parmesan... sub, take out. We ordered using the online menu. The bill was substantially more than was listed online. When I asked about it,I was told that the menu recently changed & was not updated online. I cost more than $36 for two sandwiches and one side orderof coleslaw. Both sandwiches were probably the worst sandwiches we have ever eaten. We were absolutely shocked because wealways see a lot of cars outside of the restaurant. The side of side of coleslaw looked horrible and tasted awful. It wasinedible. It was certainly not freshly made, but it was absolutely the worst coleslaw I have ever tasted. The chicken Parmesansandwich was horrible. The chicken was certainly not fresh, over cooked, dry and tasted bad. The fish sandwich was equally bad.My husband commented that he could have gotten a better fish sandwich at McDonald?s for a fraction of the price. The Frenchfires were also terrible. Usually go there about four times a month and it not so bad. The food is the only thing they have going for them. My wife and I... decided to go today in hopes of sitting at the bar, there were a few single seats, so we decided to take a seat at the bartables. My wife is handicapped so we use the handicap entrance, as I was helping my wife onto the seat a waitress came over veryquickly and said " you can't sit there I have a party of six coming" There was no reservation sign on the table and she didn'teven offer us another seat just said you have to check in at the front desk. As far as I know the bar tables are open. They arenot in the dining room. We ended up leaving and going somewhere else. We will never be returning to this place. Just a word tothe waitress, maybe next time instead of thinking of a big tip from your party of six, try offering us an alternative place tosit. My family and I really wanted to like this place. It was our first visit here. The atmosphere was very family oriented, all... the staff qe encountered were great too. Our waitress was wonderful. Our issues were with our food. My you gest had a grilledcheese and fries from the kids menu. It was really dry, a ton of cheese that had already solidified, and the fries were soggywith so much grease. My oldest had spaghetti. She said it was good. My husband and mother in law shared a captains platter. The fries were very soggy, they were out of scallops - however added extra shrimp which was nice. They enjoyed the shrimp andhaddock. All of the fish had a heavy oil flavor. I had a cowboy burger. The BBQ was tangy, however that was all that was goodabout it. The Patty was very bland and not cooked enough. I had asked for medium, and it was much closer to rare. The onionrings were soggy and cold, and again the fries that came with were very soggy and super greasy.
