This place is almost too good to be true. Prices are almost throwback level inexpensive. Very extensive menu, even some good... Latin international. Everything my party had they liked. Family and friendly vibe in the staff who are also very kind andattentive. Read more
I had a wonderful experience and the staff was lovely. The food was amazing. We did have to leave in a hurry and they were very... polite and friendly. We got aroz con pollo and special Mexican taco special plate. Was going to put 5 stars but after leaving Irevised they over charged me. I paid 30.02 and I got the special meal with sweet tea, and me aroz con pollo with a water. I'llbe back in after getting my tire fixed. Read more
I had to pick up materials in the industrial park nearby & googled top rated restaurants by distance. This restaurant was at the... top of the list. I ordered the Bandeja Paisa - a Columbian dish. First off, it was an immense amount of food!! I didn't evenrealize there was white rice in the container until the second time I ate it. The chorizo was by far the best I've ever eaten!!Texture was great & flavor was fantastic - a mix of traditional & some spices new to me in chorizo. The half avocado was fresh &green. The carne asada was terrific - both tasty & tender. The chicharrones were excellent - crunchy & when dunked in theirjalapeno salsa, phenomenal! The fried plantains were cooked perfectly & there were quite a few. The little roasted chili pepperslit me right up - yum! The fried egg was crispy around the edges & cooked through - I kinda wish the yolk was runny. I waspleased with the arepa also - the addition of their mild salsa made it that much better. Nice little hole in the wall place. This is very different from the "California style Mexican food" places that have taken over... everything and they do have traditional dishes from many other Hispanic countries. They have one of the best Molcajete I havehad in the area. That is the giant lava rock bowl that shows up stuffed full and boiling hot. Read more
