What an awesome place! Donovan and his team smoked us up a wagyu brisket and a pork butt and both were outrageous. We fed a... good 20 people with this and there were even some leftovers for later. The meats were prepared in the most professional way,and the result was just amazing. This place is a local favorite that is welcomed every year with open arms. This year they have some new options which I enjoyed... and the time from payment to getting my food was extremely quick! I ordered a Brisket Burrito (first time seeing burritos onthe menu so I had to try one - they also have chicken and pulled pork options) and a pulled pork sandwich. Both were very yummy,although I will say I feel their sauces might have been better in previous years. They seemed to have too much molasses or cuminin them and the taste was slightly overwhelming. Wow. A big part of my trip to PA was the excitement for East Coast BBQ, and Big Kev?s more than satisfied my craving. I tried... almost everything - from pulled pork to ribs to brisket, mac and cheese, smoked corn, cornbread? every single thing is great,with the pork lacking in flavour initially but that?s what you get a couple extra sauces for, however: the brisket, andespecially the burnt ends if available, are the showstoppers. Absolutely delicious and utterly satisfying in both flavour andconsistency, these items are a must get when you?re there. I never had better. They accept cash and card, hand out as manysauces and utensils as desired, offer on-site seating and friendly faces and quick service to boot. This is a five star BBQ spotif I?ve ever seen one. We stopped by on our way back home and were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. Highly recommended as a stop! Be... aware that it's a food truck. They have porta potties as a bathroom, but not much else. There are a couple picnic tables. Read more
