The area has few options and this one is acceptable if you are willing to spend some money. The fried foods tend towards super... greasy (compared to other fried foods) and the crab legs buffet is not worth the extra $20. But the $30 rate for the normalseafood buffet is a fair price. The men?s bathroom is also very dirty. Service is good but an automatic 18% is automaticallycharged for parties of 6 or more. Also, bring cash for a cheaper price without a fee. Read more
This morning I called & made reservations for 5 pm this evening for the All You Can Eat Seafood Bar. I?m not sure who the young... lady was I spoke to but she even asked how to spell my last name. We traveled an hour to get there from Hiltonia GA only to betold we were not on the book for a reservation. The older lady up front asked if we minded sitting up stairs to which I repliedno. We had a really nice waitress seated up asked about our drinks and if we needed a menu?.I then said we would both like sweettea & the All You Can Eat Crab-legs. The seafood bar starts at 5 pm & ends at 10 pm. At this particular time it was just a fewminutes after 5 pm and the waitress said they were not quite ready but we could go ahead to the salad bar. My husband askedabout 20 minutes later since we were already not on the books like we were supposed to be if she could just get us some crablegs from the kitchen & bring them upstairs to us. She explained she couldn?t do it & the reason why?.we also made sure she knewwe were not blaming her for the issues they were having but that it was a disadvantage to us being upstairs. Assuming downstairsis limited to only reservations there were still empty tables down there 44 minutes later when crab legs made it to the bar.Needless to say the customers who were seated downstairs lined up and devoured the crab legs that were put out. They also have asign out front that says you are limited to 90 minutes which means by the time everyone downstairs eats the first time andanother round of crab legs get brought out they then go back for round two. I have heard so many good things about this businessto be so disappointed on my first visit!! If we had not been understanding people our waitress probably would have caught thebad side of her customers! I really fell bad for her because not everyone takes things out of her control into consideration &even though we were not pleased we still left her a nice tip. My wife and I went here for our anniversary looking for a surf and turf dining experience. This place definitely delivers. We... ordered from the menu, but there was a buffet available. Our server was very friendly and communicative. On top of all that,this place offers a great selection including some "off the wall" options including alligator and frog legs. The price wasaround $40 per person but the serving size almost guarantees that you will have to get a to go box. Read more
I've been to Rustic Grill a couple of times. The food is good. I last went here about three months ago with two small kids. The... waiter I had told me that there was not a kid's price for the buffet. I was charged a kid's price for buffet on prior visits andmy sister came with her three small kids the week prior to my last visit and was charged a kid's price, just the week prior. Itwas not a holiday when I last visited, nothing special. The guy that waited on my table said that Rustic Grill had neveroffered kid's buffet prices. Not true! Anyway, I was charged $100.00 and some change for one adult and two small kids (one ofwhich only drank her tea and barely ate). The cost was not worth it at all! Read more

I found this restaurant on Google maps, during a recent visit to George L. Smith State Park. It was the only restaurant open... later in the evening, so I decided to drive the 10 miles for take out. The host was very friendly, and encouraged me to orderfrom the buffet. He even warmed up my to-go box, so that my dinner would still be warm by the time I made it back to thecampsite. The wings were delicious and I enjoyed all the flavors, but my favorite was the mac-n-cheese. I will definitely bereturning on my next visit to the park! Read more
