Had a Sope de carne Al Pastor which was yummy! Very authentic and didn't disappoint. The Tamales were also good, a bit more... higher priced then I expected but good nonetheless. Great food! The tamales are fresh and hand made. The rice and beans are amazinglygood. Before trying them I didn't even like... them. It's very clean inside and the staff is good. I only wish they were open for dinner. Read more
Food was very good. Selection is limited but that is great in the market they are catering too. Parking in the area is limited.
Used to be the go to spot for tamales. You would get nice size, look how small these are and it was worth the money but today... made me wonder what happend to their food. This is not the Tamale House quality I was used to. I used to order party size traysof tamales but if this is what you now get I may have to find a new spot. 5 star rating now 3 star. Hope they bring it back totheir orginal quality. Read more
My family come here all the time, it?s one of the best places in town. Especially my husband and his friends for breakfast and... lunch on weekdays. It?s such a nice environment for large and small groups. Very spacious indoors and great customer service! The single dishes are huge, enough to feed two people. Steak tacos are delicious! So flavorful and cooked perfectly. I alsoordered their lengua, it was soo tender; next time I?m ordering two or three cause one wasn?t enough! They don?t skimp out onthe steak or lengua either! Tamales are big that I was full after eating just one! Their nachos are presented in a tray! One ofour fav dish is the steak and chicken nachos - so fresh and flavorful and great to share if you?re coming with a group. Read more
PLACE IS BOMB. I?ve been wanting AUTHENTIC tamales forever. Found this place & was blown away by the flavors in almost... everything we?ve tried. We got their red sauce chicken, green sauce chicken, red pork, sweet tamales, and even theirchilaquiles. Everything reminded me of my grandmas cooking. They also have a really good champurrado, perfect for the coldweather that is to come. Wait is never long even when they are busy. Prices are a little on the higher side but definitely worthit. The tamales are delicious. Honestly, I had never tried them before but came with a friend who made me. I?m glad they did! The... green pork and rajas (jalapeño and cheese) are my favorite after trying all nine options. The tamale bowls are also great andextremely filling. Definitely come here for all the tamale needs.
