Reviews for Thirsty Duck Sussex in Sussex, WI
Hit or miss service and food. Nice bar and outside seating with music in warmer months. Bartenders are nicer than waitstaff, so... I recommend sitting at the bar. Speaking from 3 years of experience frequenting this place, as I live nearby. Read more
I took my 2nd/3rd grade boys soccer team here for a Sunday afternoon and they had a BLAST! We rented two lanes for an hour and a... half and we got through 2 games on each lane with about 7 kids per lane. You track the scores manually for each bowler on atablet type screen set up at the front end of long pub table behind each lane. Scoring on the tablet was easy enough for 7 and 8year olds to do here and there. We ordered a bunch of pizzas and they weren't the best, but they were acceptable for kids toplow through in under 15 minutes. We will be back as a team next season! Read more
I keep coming back here because my kid likes it. Today I couldn't even complain about my over done burger and cold tots. It took... a bartender 50 minutes to ask me if I wanted another drink. The first bartender was good but her shift was over. It was like thebartenders didn't care since they didn't start the tab. It took 20 minutes to get cold food. The pretzel was hot. The next shiftbartenders were more concerned about labeling the new TV remotes then serving customers. Read more

We had a Father's Day get together, with good food, good drinks and fun duck pin bowling. Our server was fantastic and our "Pin... Setter" did a great job of keeping up with our "Crazy Family Bowlers". We followed bowling with a great time on the patio. Read more

It was my first time coming here, to meet friends for lunch. By the time everybody got there, the power had gone out. It was... very windy that Saturday. Although I rated the food as five stars, I didn't want to rate it low, since I never got the chance totry it. The servers were very nice and did their best to accommodate us, including free chips and salsa. Eventually we did endup going somewhere else, as there was a good sized group of us & we were hungry. They had the space to accommodate us. Hopefullywe'll get back there sometime soon. Read more
