We ordered online and when we came in our chicken wasn't ready just yet but they were making it fresh, which we're happy to wait... for because it's better fresh. The guy behind the counter (his name starts with an S but I don't remember it) gave us a free popand cheesecake for the wait, he made sure we had everything we wanted and was super friendly. Chicken was good. Fries and onion rings were great. But the burger was very greasy. Had a strong oily taste. The gravy was... chunky. Not sure if that was intentional. It wasn't lumpy, it just looked like it had shredded meat mixed into it which is odd.Maybe that's just how they do it. I loved the chicken strips. But the dips had an unusual flavor. I tried a few different onesand couldn't find one that I liked. This was my first time eating there. I was expecting it to taste like KFC but it had acompletely different flavor. Still great food but it didn't have that flavor kick that the colonel uses. Food was good qualityand fresh though. Seems to be better quality than KFC but with a little less flavour. Read more
I heard great things about their classic chicken sandwich so thought I'd give it a try. I usually love a good chicken burger or... chicken sandwich but this was just okay. I have to say there was way too much mayo on it for me and I would definitely ask for alot less mayo as it was oozing out the sides and I kept wiping it off. But I really did like the pickles on it, the pickles arewhat made it flavorful and gave it a zing. I would try the spicy chicken sandwich next time I would not go for another classicchicken sandwich. Well I think it is as good as it can be - waited in line for about 20 minutes which wasn?t bad since it opened yesterday. The... staff were really friendly and grateful for our wait. The ordering was easy, the prices are pretty good and the food is too. Not sure what else to say - nice to have another good choice in the ?hood. Read more
I absolutely love the service at this location and one of the main reasons I come here. Every member of the staff here smile and... are very helpful, knowledgeable and polite. I was there yesterday evening and ordered ghost wings , a nine piece and the fish.They were flexible enough to give us the pieces we liked. I do not mind waiting because when that spicy chicken came out , itwas piping hot and had a beautiful crunch to it as we sank our teeth into some incredibly succulent, spicy and crispy friedchicken. Simply heavenly! A great team , super fried and fresh food , wow ????! Keep it up guys, I went to school in New Orleansand I think this particular store should be a model for the franchise.
