They don't even deserve a single star.. i ordered jalebi online waited almost 40 mins but no dasher was assigned so i decided to... pick up my order instead. When i reached there they told me that they are out of jalebi and can get something else instead ,who is going to let the customer know that the menu item is out of stock..i drove almost 20 mins to pick my order. I had a really great experience at Desh Punjab restaurant today. Hence, writing this review. We have been going to this place... since past couple of months after moving to Surrey. They have one of the best ‘pani puri’(gol gappa) if not the best, inwhole of Metro Vancouver. I have had pani puri standing there and have done take out several times. There jalebi and samosas arealso very good. Jalebis are nice and crisp, while samosas are great tasting and less oily. I recently did a large order forSamosas and my guests were really happy with the quality and taste. Today, I went in to have a veg dinner thali and the foodwas amazing. Naan was nice and soft & paneer was tasty and creamy. I also ordered Rabdi and Jalebi, which were again reallygreat. I’m foodie by nature and am never shy from praising good food & service. One request to the management team of thisplace that please maintain the taste and quality of your food which is one of the biggest problem with most of the restaurantsnow a days. Best Jalebi in Lower Mainland. You gotta trust it when it comes from a Gujarati. They make it fresh after you place your order,... it's super crunchy when it's freshly fried and stays good for almost 3-4 days. I've been there only for Jalebi and they neverdisappointed with taste. Easily recommended for everyone who loves Jalebi or want to taste a good Jalebi. Read more
