Reviews for Canadian Fried Chicken in Surrey, BC
I'd give it a 0 if I could.. Got a double stacked chicken burger. The chicken was so thin that it was barely one normal peice... split in two. The chicken was dry like jerky, I got sick both times trying their food. And ontop the staff are very rude. Read more
This place would catch my eye every time I?d go for grocery in nearby Walmart so decided to give it a try. I ordered chicken... wrap and fried chicken pieces. Chicken wrap was ok, the sauces were good and over all taste was good but the chicken was notup-to expectations, it was bit oily and had no taste. I would recommend trying chicken wrap or burger instead of fried chicken. Read more
The CFC crunch was REALLY GOOD. However, the fried chicken was HORRIBLE and the worst thing I've ever eaten. However I do... believe that this place will improve. This place has so much potential. They already did an amazing job with the sandwich and Ibelieve that they can do the same with the fried chicken itself. Weirdly, the chicken in the sandwich is way better then thechicken itself without the sandwich. Read more
Gravy was very watery. Like soup. It was very cold. We had Ordered family combo meal. The fries is size of maybe a medium fry... at MacDonald's. Will not feed a family. We got like 5 fries each or something lol. Chicken was good not dry. But this combo willnot feed family. Why my gravy is not like other pictures in review. This was so watery. Maybe it chicken stock? Forgot to makegravy? Read more
I ordered a 4pc. fried chicken with fries and a drink for a reasonable price of $10.25. Fried chicken was juicy, skin was crispy... and seasoning was on point (8/10) and fries was fresh and crispy as well (10/10). Chicken gravy was bland (5/10) -I got forfree. Friendly staff. Read more
After seeing CFC's incredible logo, I knew I had to eat here as soon as possible! It was ok. The chicken was ok, nothing bad... about it but it feels like someone just googled how to make fried chicken, ya know? Fries were good, the gravy & cheese in thepoutine weren't good and made it taste like Mac n Cheese, which was weird. Read more
CFC just kind of came out of nowhere and opened up right by the sky train station. I have eyed it the last few weeks and decided... I might want to check it out. After reading the reviews, they made me really want to visit. Everyone was talking about thechicken sandwiches and I decided why not for a meal that only comes to $8.39 you can?t complain. The atmosphere was a littlecold, no music and quite silent, but I didn?t think much as it?s a little hole in the wall. They offer 2 choices of a sandwich, they original with 2 tenders, or a spicy chicken patty (which they say they make themselves!). I ordered the original sandwichand waited only about 5-10 minutes which is not bad by any means. Upon getting it, it was covered in sauce, which I?m a fan ofpersonally but if you?re not a sauce person I?d suggest asking for a small amount. The fries were nice and crispy as you?dexpect for fries. They were quite tasty! But the sandwich on the other hand was a little disappointing. The chicken was dry andtough to chew and tasted like it has been sitting out for a couple hours and then reheated. The sauce that they used wasprobably a spicy mayo which tasted great and added much needed moisture to the sandwich. I read plenty of reviews praising onhow they cook the food fresh and it is very juicy, but sadly that didn?t seem like the experience I received. Also the photos ofthe food they advertise are very far from what you receive. I do however hope this restaurant prospers and they are able to getbetter with time! I?d recommend you go check it out at least once if you?re around the area, maybe you?ll have a betterexperience than I did. Read more
