Great sandwich options - delicious and filling. Felt as though the combo options could have used an extra boost though to round... out the meal perfectly. Read more

It?s a sandwich?.how good can it really be? Would taste a whole lot better if it was cheaper or bigger sizes. Incredible!!! This... place makes a killing! The subs are tiny and mega over priced. It blows my mind how stores keep opening up. Great investment foran 8in - $20 sandwich. It?s ridiculously funny lol Read more

a sub shop that is above average - the subs will remind you of jimmy johns or even Jersey Mike's subs in the US but with a... BETTER twist - pulled turkey and other fresh cut meats along with freshly prepared vegetables and toppings - you cant find stylelike this in a typical sub place that is reminiscent of the old school corner local sub shop back in the day ONLY drawback isthat they are a bit PRICEY - paid over $20 for the small ( 6 inch ) sub - a bag of chips - and a soda - WAY too high for just asandwich meal - they need to work on how much they charge Read more

Last 2 times have been a bit of a disappointment - sad to say really - as big star ?was? the best. Told everyone I know they... were the best sandwich place. Guess they are shrinking the size of the fillings - the turkey sandwich isn?t as amazing anymore.I could never finish the whole thing before - I can now. It also just tasted off - maybe the bread was stale also. Not sure ifit?s just bad luck or is how they are doing now. Pretty disappointing Read more

I have never been let down eating here. Sandwiches are always delicious, fresh made, and always worth the stop in after... groceries. The sandwich menu has a lot of them numbered, in stead of named, so it's easy to forget your favourite one, or atleast my ADHD brain struggles with it. I *think* my favourite is the #14. Or if all else fails I go for The Neeson, one or thefew named beauties. The ones that shone bright enough to be named. Not just a number. A masterpiece. This is more of a quicklunch spot, or takeout as well. An especially great place for a lunch break if you're working. Read more

They make a wonderful sandwich, but I don't know if it's as good as they charge. I had the pulled pork and it was really good,... but a sandwich and a soda was over $22. I admit it was a nice sandwich, but very much on the pricey side of things. Read more

You are looking at the glorious #13! Shredded lettuce reminds me of the old sub shop in my small town growing up. Pesto mayo was... a very nice touch. Overall the bun was dense but doesn?t cut your mouth. Healthy portion of meat to veg. I want to try theentire menu as it was hard to choose one sandwich. Staff was kind and helpful. Clean eating area and bathroom. Great value for atasty sandwich. I highly recommend trying Big Star Sandwich! Read more

We've been hearing great things about his place but have always been weary about this place due to the hefty price tag. At an... average of $13 for an 8" sandwich it seemed to quite high for a sandwich/sub. The venue was brightly lit, clean and ample spaceto sit down and have a meal. Our cashier was super friendly and nice, very informative as we were quite indecisive due to theirextensive menu but she was able to recommend a few of their most popular sandwiches. We opted for #18 and 28. #18 Turkey,Bacon, Habanero Jack, Lettuce, Tomato, Sriracha Mayo and Cranberry Sauce. This was like a Turkey Dinner between a bun. Smokiness from the bacon, a little heat from the Habanero Jack and Sriracha Mayo offered a nice counter balance to the sweetnessand tartness of the cranberry sauce. A good alternative to getting your turkey fix without the whole production of making aturkey dinner. #28 : Roast Beef, Bacon, Habanero Jack, Lettuce, Tomato, Onions, Hickory Sticks, Chipotle May, BBQ Sauce. Thiswas our favorite between the both. Key note was the addition of the hickory sticks. They added not only an additional layer oftexture with the crunch but the smoky and savoriness it added was a nice addition. Roast beef was moist and tender and overallvery well composed. The only thing I would personally have liked would to have something done to the bun itself. The bun cameout of the packaging straight to the assembly line so it was cold and took away from the goodness of the filling. A slighttoast to give it a slight crunch and warmth would have been appreciated. Overall a great meal and I must say, yes! $13 is aheft price tag but the portion and how filling it is counteracts that. We were quite content after only eating half of thesandwich. We will return as this is a great option for a quick quality sandwich Read more
