Their Reuben sandwich was pretty good. I loved their clam chowder! It was creamy in and flavorful. My mother in law got the fish... and chips and enjoyed it. My sister and her boyfriend got the ground steak, which she wasn't a fan but he filled his up! Our mywaitress was great. She kept coming over and showing us tricks. I ended up at this dinner by pure luck! But I'm glad I did! I'm giving this place 5 stars because the service and the food were... both amazing! The waiter brought all the sauces and condiments before our meals which I loved! because once our food came wewere ready to eat! And didn't have to wait for the waiter to come around to get these items. Excellent experience and tasty foodwill definitely be going back! Read more
Service great. Portions large. Prices reasonable. I had the Club with lemon rice soup. The Club was huge with a real ham steak.... The soup was fantastic. My wife had fish and chips. The breading was a little thick for her taste as were the fries. The coleslaw was not too gooey and had a touch of sweetness. Read more
We really wanted this place to be delicious. It was just average. The country potatoes, the eggs, sausage, and the French toast... slices were simply average. They weren?t bad, they just weren?t great. The potatoes could have used some seasoning. There?s notmuch you can do to an egg, so I can let that one slide. The French toast slices looked like they were going to be amazing, butit ended up being spongy if I go back again, I?ll try the biscuits and gravy and maybe the country fried steak, but this wasnothing to write home about. The country fried steak was well cooked and still had a crunch which was nice. The over medium eggs were cooked well, though I... asked for them to be more crispy. The ?hash browns? country potatoes were the best things on the plate. Well seasoned, crunchyand not dry. The kids pancake was large, and plenty for my growing kiddo. 9/27/22 - The owner replied stating that I need tocommunicate what I want and that the servers aren?t mind readers. They were not rude but I?m very confused. I DID ask that myfried eggs be crispy and it wasn?t. The bacon was crispy which I like, it wasn?t a complaint. I put ?hash browns? countrypotatoes because some people still call them hash browns. Your food wasn?t bad at all. Just not something I haven?t had at otherrestaurants. Read the reviews more carefully. 3*** = Good but no separation from similar restaurants 4**** = Set themselves apart and their food is different and I want to go back. 5*****= You have to go out of your way and make a special trip to trythe deliciousness that is there! Best breakfast spot in surprise! Great biscuits and gravy. Their sausage is off the hook! My son loves their pancakes and French... toast. Great service and great staff! I highly recommend this place for breakfast. I haven't been for lunch but of theirbreakfast is great so will their lunch! Read more
Calm and friendly environment. I had the Greek chicken wrap and it was really good. The service was good as... well. Unfortunately they didn't have any flavored tea on hand and also don't do cold coffees, something to look at adding tothe menu in the future to appeal to a younger crowd. Read more
Update : Our most recent visit was not as pleasant. René the waitress/hostess arrived to seat us. As she was guiding us to a... table we politely asked for a booth. She had tossed our menus on the table and told we could grab our menus and go to a booth ofour choosing. We felt this was unnecessarily hostile and rude. We had been nothing but polite. She never returned to our table.Our new waitress was absolutely pleasant and a real joy. Food was great as always. Nick's Diner is one of our favorite go tobreakfast spots. The Food is great and service is always friendly and attentive. The pancakes with fresh strawberries andcompote and whipped cream is oh so good! Read more
