This was our first time here. It is amazing. Plus the young man and girl making the food were not idiot worthless kids like 99... percent of the world. They were very nice, professional, and didn't look like the ecoli riddled purple headed idiots taking overthe planet. The entire family loved their food and that is hard to accomplish in our house. Very good meat and fresh veggies.They helped with suggestions for people who hadn't been there before. We will be back as long as the service and food remains asexceptional as it was. 5 stars! Hubbs loves the chorizo breakfast burros, yesterday he got us both one (since I was home too). The breakfast burritos were... really good! Then we came for street tacos for dinner, LOL! The tacos were really good! We tried their corn and flour tortillatacos- both are good. We did the 10 tacos, and we picked steak & chicken! The steak and chicken have great flavor and dicedsmall! First time coming here, had heard great things... The food was really good, tasted like street tacos and those are the best! The... Mexican rice was so yummy, my daughter loved it! The chicken was my favorite! The boys loved the beef tacos and burrito. A bitfatty for my taste, but it's rare to get steak with no fat bits. Overall good food and will return for sure!!! ... not just forthe food.... The crew there was so nice! In this heat everyone gets grumpy, but these guys were all excellent! Went here for lunch got one kids meal, 2 chicken burritos, and a protein bowl, and 3 drinks. We spent almost $50 ???? on the... upside the portions were a healthy size. I feel the chicken was a little too burnt for me. If I were to make a suggestion Iwould have more options for the kids meal other than just quesadillas. Read more

I really enjoyed my corn flour street taco. I got the steak with cheese, cabbage, & their red sauce. The red sauce has a kick... but not burning my mouth hot. The staff was super friendly too. Not sure how this place got rated so high but first we ordered a veggie protein bowl and it had meat in it. Got a side of guac... and it was literally a paste they squeezed out of a bottle no actual chucks of avacado no onion no tomatoes nothing. Beanstasted horrible. Mr. Mesquite is definitely the best place to get street style tacos in Surprise! They cook their meat over mesquite lump coal... right in front of you, nothing fake about the flavor. All their ingredients are fresh and they build your food for you to yourliking. The prices are definitely reasonable. My family and I got a family meal of steak tacos for $35 that was enough for 4hungry people to eat to their hearts desire. At least than 10 dollars per person, that?s a steal! My 5 year old loved it so muchthat he said he wanted it everyday, and we literally just went back today so he could have more tacos! The dining area is alsovery clean and kept up, and all staff wears masks and are super friendly. No one making you feel like they don?t want to workthere. I highly recommend this restaurant! Read more
