Reviews for Lucky House in Surprise, AZ
Just ordered over the phone a family meal. We love there food. Got an email with the receipt. Perfect!! Then received a... second email with additional charges. I called and the girl that took the order said she made a mistake and charged me more. Iasked them to adjust the price and she would not do that. I told them to cancel the order and she laughed and said enjoy PandaExpress. .. Check your bill they will hustle you if you don't catch it. What a joke of place!! Read more
First time trying Lucky House... Food was ready on time, and hot. Tempura shrimp, egg roll, shrimp chow mein, and egg drop soup,... all EXCELLENT. Would have liked to have scallions in egg drop soup, but it was so good, it wasn't an issue. Staff wasfriendly. Good portions. I have tried a few Chinese food restaurants, being new to the area... this one is my new favorite! Read more
Very pleasant and accommodating staff helped me load my bag with a big order went out of their way to repack it. ???????? The... food was very good had an authentic taste better than the excessive sweetness of Panda Express. Wait time was good for a kitchenwhere everything is made as you order. I do wish you got a little bit more meat in the meals but you get a substantial amount. Also menu is very extensive there is almost too much to choose from which means I will definitely be heading back when I’m inthe area!! Best Chinese Restaurant in Surprise, hands down. The dishes were cooked with flavor and attention. Lunch specials are beyond... affordable. Staff is kind and attentive. I appreciate the skill of the house chefs in the back and for not pushing a moreAmericanized menu. I will be only getting my Chinese food from this location from now on! Read more
It's really hard to find Chinese restaurants here in Surprise let alone good one.. I saw few people suggested Lucky House, so I... decided to give them a try. Employees were very friendly, nice clean place with waiting area. I ordered chicken with veggies, some egg rolls and fried wonton for kids. I couldn't go during lunch hour, so all these for $20. Portion was regular to smallsize. Chicken w vegetables(???????????????????? and celery ) was good : to some people it might be a bit blend, but it was goodfor me. Fried wonton has stuff in it!! It's like small fried dumplings with less fillings. Use a sauce that comes with it. Eggrolls were pretty good, so my son finished in two bites. All in all it was good and will try lunch special next time Read more
I'm giving two stars because our server was great. Other than that I'm guessing the food must be reheated, wondering if its... because we came in just before 8:00 pm? I got the orange chicken and it had a weird taste, they said they had run out of friedrice and apparently weren't willing to make fresh fried rice so our options were white rice or lo mien, my husband asked forhalf rice and half lo mien but the waitress said she wasn't sure they could do that, apparently not cause they brought him onlythe white rice, our food was out in less than 5 minutes so I'm guessing they must have had it already served in the containerswhich is why the couldn't change it. Everything came out in plastic containers including the water (which they did not charge usfor) the sweet and sour pork was a little crispy but my orange chicken tasted soggy, noodles where meh. I was hoping for better,I dont know of any good Chinese restaurants in the area, we should have known by how empty it was when we walked in but gavethem the benefit of the doubt. If someone just made decent Chinese food they would do very well. Also our fortune was kindanegative ?????????????????? Read more
Best Chinese food in the area. We come at least once a week. Good value. Large portion size. Ingredients are very fresh. They... prepare everything fresh in house everyday. They are also attentive the details. They pack the fried food on the way that itwon’t get soggy by the time we get home. Most importantly. Excellent taste. I try most of their menu. Everything is delicious. No complaints. Read more
I'm sad to say my review is not positive. So many people rave about this restaurant and so we decided to check it out tonight.... We ordered the Mongolian beef, General Tso chicken (both with fried rice) and fried dumplings. Both entrees don't seem to haveany flavor. We ordered the non-spicy version so I guess the seasoning must be in the spice. The beef is covered with onions (toomany) and the dumplings have no flavor. Also, the fried rice is just white rice with soy sauce on it. Maybe I came on an offnight but definitely disappointed and will continue going to Big Buddha. Read more
