I grew up in ca going to the original del taco and del taco is my fav place for a quick bite but this location is the worst!.... Everytime I come there rude and very unfriendly , I smile and say hey how is ur day going and they don?t smile and say finethen take my card then shut the window , my food is always cold , and they are never consistent. Del Taco was fine. Food was ok as expected. I do wish they had salsa options for people who can't have spicy salsa. My wife... can't have anything spicy without major heartburn/reflux repercussions. Read more

Del Taco is by far my favorite place to eat for fast food. They?re consistent with their menu and customer service. They are... never out of anything and honestly if they are they have other options. We dine at this location frequently, the last time weate here was August 5 , 2022 , off of Grand and Bell road. This place is always clean and food is awesome. I love it when youcan eat at a place and you ask the cashier , How is your night going ? She (Kayla) says it is awesome! It?s Friday night andbusy. Kayla had a smile , and was very happy with her job . Great job Kayla! The energy was very positive and it always is whenwe go here . Keep your Friday night team . They work well together. One word! Awful! Went inside around 3:00 pm to eat in the dining room and was ignored for a good ten minutes before an employee... who I?m guessing was the manager mumbled to us. We told her that we didn?t hear what she said and she stated that she wasclosing the dining room and that we could order in 30 minutes. She then proceeded to lock the doors and continued to ignore myfamily and other customer behind us. We asked her what was going on and she just said she was closing the dining room and thatwe could order in 30 minutes. I watched a few minutes and it appeared that they were taking care of only the drive thrucustomers now. When asked why she wasn?t going to take care our orders she said again?.. not for 30 minutes. I asked a teenemployee if that was the manager and it appeared that he was afraid to answer in front of her and a couple of other employeesthat were whispering amongst themselves. The teen appeared embarrassed for this managers behavior and said he would take ourorder anyway. I told him thank you, but there is no way that I would ever eat or want the food prepared under the supervision ofher and proceeded to unlock the double bolted doors, so that we could leave. Who ever is running this store is lacking anymanagement and customer service skills. I didn?t mind waiting, however just don?t ignore your customers, lock the doors and thendon?t explain what was going on. This isn?t the first time this particular Del Taco in Surprise has just randomly closed,however given the difficulty to hire staff I have always been understanding and patient. This was not the case this time, asthere was plenty of staff, however they were being supervised by an incompetent manager. I will say that it will be my LAST timeI ever go to this business again. Mobile orders beware!!! It definitely seems like the franchise owners do not care about this establishment. The mobile orders... (orders placed through their app) don?t transfer properly to their order screens so the employees get tiffy whenever they get amobile order. Apparently they have to physically ?go to the back to refresh the other computer? which they don?t care to do, sothey make you come inside or wait for 15 minutes in the parking lot. But I don?t blame the workers; they look so miserable eachtime we go. Pay your employees more, offer better training, and get your app-to-store disconnect fixed. Read more
Worst Del Taco location. They seem to mess ur my order every time I go to this location. They will also straight up lie to you... and tell you the shake machine is closed hours and hours before the restaurant closes and you see them serving a shake out thedrive thru window and can see ice cream in the machine.
