The Boarding House is my favorite supper club by far. They have the best steaks, old fashions, soup (beef barley) and salad bar.... I've been going here for almost 30 years, and it's simply the best! Read more
Visited the boarding house on a recent Saturday night. We have been trying to get to a variety of supper clubs in driving... distance of Green Bay. I enjoyed the historic atmosphere of the building, the bar and dining areas were charming and inviting.The staff did a terrific job keeping up with the crowds. Crowds you may ask, since there is a pandemic going on? You wouldn?tguess it here, I was the only one wearing a mask other, than the wait staff. Everyone should have the right to make choicesat this point so I?m not casting judgment but just a heads up. It was packed in too! Fingers crossed that I don?t getanything. My stuffed shrimp were just OK which was the nightly special, as was the prime rib. I really liked my olde fashion,which had real honey at the bottom. They didn?t skimp on alcohol either, one drink kept me going just fine all night. Read more
This is got to be one of the best family owned supper clubs around and worth the drive! Very unique historic atmosphere. I... believe the building dates back to 1896 which is 125 years old! Still showing its History. We went with a group of 10 on aFriday night. The wait wasn't bad since we got to enjoy a few home made old fashioned with honey(the best). Between all of us, Ithink we had a little taste of everything. The Prime rib was melt in your mouth and flavored very well. The Tenderloin was doneto perfection and seasoned unlike any other. The Broiled Haddock with lemon pepper smothered in mozzarella cheese was awesome! The salad bar has got to be the best I've ever experienced. Nice selection, very fresh, and large salad bowls to pack it allon. Hands down to the owners, Steve and Melisa . We all had a great experience and will definitely be back! Read a previousreview of a woman that we believe was near us(Jessica, if that is her review)and I think she was on a mission to have a badnight out. In a mood from the second she walked in! Wow! Some people need to stay home at that point! Small businesses have atough enough time, without having to deal with people like that. Read more
