I've been coming to Surfside for 17 years and for some reason, never got into Dagwood's before last week. I found out exactly... what I had been missing. GREAT place to meet friends, have drinks and chat. But better than that... the food was EXCELLENT! I had the soup of the day but my other three friends all had different dishes they all shared and they raved about them. I needto go back and be sure I am hunger because the whole menu looked great. I didn?t expect much from this place the first time I visited, but I was blown away by how good the sandwich was and how many... options they had. I?ve been a half a dozen times now and I?ve tried a different sandwich each time and they?ve all been great.Most of my orders have been to-go, but I dined in today and they had a really cool outdoor seating area. lol Read more

This place never disappoints. A layed back sports bar with really good food! I had the Caribbean Jerk chicken sub. The pineapple... cilantro salsa on it was absolutely delicious. The jerk seasoning was on the chicken was tasty too! I can't wait to get thisagain. And I can't ever pass up the pub chips with my meal. They're always great! Read more
Happy Hour at Dagwood's, had some great appetizer and brew deals. Fun sitting outdoors in their rocking booths on a beautiful... day, enjoying the breeze and view from their patio. Server Kimberly was super-attentive and nice! We finished with deliciousdesserts which they serve fresh'baked--the hot brownie sundae and chocolate chip cookie with gooey melted chocolate chips(ssshhh! only $1.49 per cookie). I had the caribbean jerk sub and it was probably the best sub I have ever eaten. Food arrived quickly despite being short... staffed in the kitchen. Subbed chips for sweet potato fries which were also delicious. Would highly recommend and would return. Read more
