An absolute must go if visiting Surf City/Topsail island. DELICIOUS and a half! We got them to cater our wedding 11 yrs ago at... the visitors center next door, amazing dinner, a top wedding dinner of all time for a lot of our guests, they've raved foryears how great it was, a friend went back for fourths... I'm just saying. Dinners are unbelievably great, flavorful, widevariety, lunch was awesome too! Went here 2 times just a couple weeks ago on a week's vacation because we couldn't get enough.Back deck is awesome for eating right over the beach. So far this is the best place to eat down here. They know how to run a restaurant. Staff is amazing and the owner is very... friendly and actually gets involved!! Love it! The fried oysters are the bomb!! Ordered The Lava Flow.... what an amazingsurprise for.your mouth!!! Was like having desert before the meal!!! Had to get another! Ordered the special which was swordfish covered with steamed shrimp and crab meat... WOW!!!! DELICIOUS My wife ordered another special, Steak with steamed shrimpand a Crab Cake... The steak was very tender, could have used a bit more seasonings to my liking.. nothing a little salt didn'ttake care of... and needless to say my wife only gave me a bite of her crab cake LOL!!! Amazing spot!! Checked in around 530 for a party of 2, 30 min wait no problem. Went upstairs to the drink window enjoyed a... delicious mojito on the patio and were called for our table outside in 15 short minutes. Our server Nathan was so polite andcompetent. This was our first time eating here and it was amazing! We waited for a table on the deck and it was worth the hour wait. Our... server Francesca was wonderful and kept a smile on her face the entire time. The manager was making his rounds the entire nightmaking sure everyone's food was good. They have an extensive gluten-free options for my wife. On it was the shrimp & grits with bacon I have pictured. The portion... size was about right too as it was very filling. My wife and I both had it. It was delicious. The salad was fresh and deliveredquickly. We had quick and attentive service once seated. It was very busy on a Saturday evening during tourist season, so a 40minute wait for a table was not bad. The check-in process was easy and they took my cell # to text us when our table wasready. The staff was friendly and as I said, very quick service. The food was ready rather quickly too. Probably within 15 or20 minutes of being ordering our food. Victoria was our server and was wonderful.
