We went here about 6 1/2 years ago and the food was not that great, but we had heard that the food was once again great here, so... tried it again in September, Food was wonderful and the J Lore wine was great. Bread would have been great just by itself, butreally glad I had the Veal Parm which was the best I had ever eaten and I am 75 years old! Can't wait to go again. Just wishedthey were open for lunch which is the time my husband and I usually eat our biggest meal of the day. Especially Sunday lunchafter church would be very welcomed by many. We frequently dine at La Cucina and enjoy the excellent food and service we receive there. On a recent trip there we had a party... of 6 . My nephew eats strictly vegan and requested a vegan dish.Another member of our group asked for a Carbonara dish whichisn't on the menu. We try to stop here at least once every time we go to Ocean Isle. My wife ordered a nice reisling and the lasagna, both of which... were excellent. I had chicken parmesan, which I declared to be the best I have ever eaten. (My daughter was jealous not to bethere, since she adores the eggplant Parm. We know what she will order next year!)
