I love going to Ikea. I always find some inexpensive doodad that I needed. Best of all is a visit to their cafeteria style... restaurant located on the second floor. On this occasion we came over after a visit to nearby Flamingo Gardens. My daughter andI both got the stuffed chicken breast with mixed vegetables and mashed potatoes. The chicken was stuffed with a sweet cheese andcranberries. It was delicious. We also got a side of another favorite, the vegetable medallions. For desert we had the richchocolate cake. Dinner for the two of us with drinks, extra sides, and a shared dessert was $24. A bargain to not have to cookdinner. In the past we have had the ribs and the stalwart staple, Swedish meatballs. I have never had anything I didn't likehere. At certain times of the year they have a special smorgasbord for a fixed price. I have never made it to one because I livesomewhat far from the store but they look delicious. Ikea family members get free coffee in the cafe. You can sign up at a kioskdownstairs. Also certain times during the year the store will have a special promotion where if you spend a certain amount inthe store they give you a free meal in the cafe. This is one of the place that you can shop for home or office with the certainty that you will get a best value for your money.... A place where kids can have fun while you shop and to wrap it up with style, an affordable place to eat with the integrity of company that cares for the environment and their customer. Shelves, cabinets, tables, bed frames everything made of cheap weak cardboard, nothing in stock, prices still going up, seems... like ikea going out of business soon. Cheap weak table cost $300 at ikea, metal sturdy product cost $40 at amazon and freedelivery. You lost me ikea way more time ago, sorry. Read more
