Overall, Don Pan was a nice place to have lunch. The steak sandwich was tasty and while the bread was not toasted, it gave the... sandwich more charm and texture than if the sandwich was toasted. The Cafe Con Leche was also flavorful. While I am not usuallya fan of hot coffee, the coffee was not burning hot to the point where my younger was given third degree burns. It was warm. I just bought this cachapa at this location of Nobhill and Oakland Park. As you can see, they just added the cheese on top of... the paper and I noticed after I started chewing on the paper, hopefully this was just a one time mistake, if not, there's a lotof people eating paper out there. Read more
This place has potential, but they always mess up the order. I give them a chance every couple months, but the same old lady... messes up my order every single time lol. I ask for extra cheese on the pulled pork sandwich and it becomes a mission becauseshe doesn't know what cheese goes on it. Extra cheese on the omelet as well, and she puts it to come in a separate container.Now I have to open the sandwich and omelet to put the extra cheese on myself that I was charged $4 for ????. It's so silly, Ican only laugh at this point. Today is my last time going to Don Pan. Train your people! Good luck! Read more
The food here is fresh and taste excellent. The place is very clean and organized. The employees are friendly and respectful.... Not much english speakers to know or take your order but as long as you point on what you need then you will be fine. There isno sugar free or low sugared items here when i ask so tread lightly if you are diabetic or pre. It's a very nicesetting/atmosphere you can sit and clear your head, meditate, or enjoy you. I keep giving this place a chance, but it's always something. Yesterday, I ordered a Pabellon Bowl online, and the order ended... up being wrong. Why would you have the option to select what you want in your bowl if you're not going to pay attention to it?Today, I ordered empanadas, and this one is clearly old and re-fried. Not the first time they messed up my order either.
