Lil hidden authentic Japanese spot. Easy to miss, but food is legit. Prices and portions are fair for a Japanese place. Taste is... on point, for the money, the portions I would almost say on the generous side. Service is top notch, they are very nice andattentive. The food is good and fresh. It would be good if they could provide reduced salt soy sauce as an option. (Maybe they do, but it's... too late for me ????) I don't think this place is pricey, it's very reasonable imo. Read more
Got some sashimi, rolls with a variety of fish. Very good! Edamame garnished with salt. Buying one bowl of edamame was great for... 5 people. Loved the family style platted sushi. Read more

In A Nutshell: -Rokko is an okay Japanese restaurant. -Tried their Deluxe Okonomiyaki house special, which is basically a... Japanese version of a crepe. -It wasn't very crispy on the bottom. -Also the waiter kept messing up the order. -I ordered a"pint" of beer, but he brings out a "pitcher". -The roll was also the wrong one. An awesome Japanese spot in DT Sunnyvale! Portions are large and staff is friendly. I ordered #8 off of the Special Premium... sets. It included tonkatsu, agedashi tofu, deluxe sashimi (10 pcs), and a clam miso soup! Tonkatsu was a bit soggy, but stillgood. Agedashi tofu was with firm tofu (I prefer soft tofu) but i was still made well. Deluxe sashimi was delicious! Clam misosoup was the only disappointing one since the clams had lots of sand in them and tasted a bit less fresh than theothers. Portions are large, so the value is definitely there. Love the sets so you can try different variety of theiroptions! Will definitely be back! Parking is a bit tough in the lot, so you may need to park farther away and walkover.
