Tasty food. We had sauteed lamb with rice and chicken noodles. I do agree with other reviews as sauteed lamb was bit salty but... it tastes right with rice. Noodles was not salty. Overall good service and good food. Good portion for the price. Woulddefinitely go back to try their duck. Read more
So Hunan House and sizzling pot king are the same restaurant… I don’t really get this. Anyways, I have tried dine in once... for hunan house and delivery for sizzling pot king. Both experiences were not great. The place is warm and no ac apparently. Thedishes were ok but not exceptional. However the price is not fair for the quantity. They added cucumber and too muchcauliflowers into the dry pot which is not usual lol. Read more
Favorite Hunan restaurant around Bay Area! The flavors are mostly great. Love pork tripe soup and grridle cooked foods the most.
I've been to this location a while back, but looks like they changed name (and maybe menu?) so need to try again! Ordered the... sauteed beef because that looked like a popular choice from Yelp, and also bean curd with chives. Both dishes were delicious!The level of spiciness is perfect on the beef dish, and even though I'm not a big fan of chives the dish very much workedtogether. The portion size was also decent, I took the leftover and make a few more lunch boxes with it. :) Will definitely comeback for more cozy spicy food! Read more
Nothing stands out and honestly nothing tastes good enough to warrant itself as a hunan restaurant. The only reason I came in... was because I thought it changed ownership from a previous so-so dry pot place. I'm not sure whether the owner changed or theyonly changed the name but food is even more bland than before. Hunan lamb is dry and over-sauced (but still tasteless) and thecauliflower is better but not good enough to be better than average. The food menu is very limited so nothing really stands out.Overall a bland restaurant with a bland flavor that really doesn't match what I'd call hunan food. Read more
