Giovanni's has some of the best pizza I've experienced in the bay area, truly a hidden gem! A friend and I came here on a... weekday evening and found a table right away (there were a couple other parties but not too crowded, could probably hold 50+people). I got the small vegetarian pizza and although it took a while, it was well worth the wait! The small can definitelyfeed 2 people so I got to take some to go. Quite delectable, each slice was perfectly made with the right blend of cheese,sauce, and fresh veggies on top. Highly recommend this spot! Read more
This review is primarily based upon customer service. The taste of the pizza made up for the lack of personality by whom... appeared to be the store owner. Nice young man attempting to assist me almost got cursed out in front of me for doing his jobCORRECTLY. Poor kid didn't deserve that, and I can only imagine what it's like for the overall staff once the store closes. . . Read more

The waitress increased the dining experience exponentially! She came by and asked if we wanted to hear her joke, super friendly... and sweet. It was a dad joke ???? We got lots more food but dug into everything before taking pictures. I like that the wingsweren't tossed, I like the dip control! Good portions, we shared dishes and took some home! Read more
Such a friendly place - everyone is on the ball, the food is AMAZING! The Sicilian pizza was thick and yummy. The shrimp... fettuccini Diablo was actually spicy and flavorful! The chicken Alfredo was also super flavorful and filling. Everything gets a5 star rating, the food, the service, all great! Read more
Was missing some good NY pizza and decided to check this place out at the advice of the front desk staff at my hotel. Glad I... tried it! Got a pepperoni and mushroom pizza, antipasto salad, and garlic knots. I arrived a minute early and they were justfinishing putting my order together. The order was perfectly accurate, and the pizza and garlic knots were absolutely top notch.The pizza was very authentic tasting, as well. The antipasto salad was good, but not outstanding. The gentleman at the counter,who I suspect is the owner, was affable and efficient. I will definitely be back next time I'm looking for some good NY pizza! Read more
