Burma Taste is a neatly tucked Burmese place that truly surprised us recently, in a very positive way. When we think Burmese... food, we often think of Rangoon Ruby or Burma Superstar. I had never heard of Burma Taste before. But after our recent dinner, Ican confirm that this place is legit, with some delicious Burmese food. We were a party of 7, and everyone of us had a reallygood time. We ate across a variety of salads, soups, noodles, rice and entree - everything was delightful. Service was good, staff was very patient, and decent overall ambience. Since this is Sunnyvale downtown, parking can be a bit of a challenge, butyou won't regret the effort. Enjoy! Read more

Love it! Glad to see a new Burmese restaurant in Sunnyvale downtown. Service was great, they have a nice outdoor seating and the... staff is friendly and warm! Tried a couple of items - all very good! The curry was very flavorful but it doesn’t come withrice or anything, you have order that on side. Portion size is decent. Tea Leaf Salad - 4/5 Palata - 5/5 Vegetable curry -5/5 Burmese Chowmein - 4/5 Basil Lemongrass Chicken - very flavorful 5/5 Definitely recommend trying this one!! Read more

We’ve come here a few times and tried to order different dishes every time and have loved everything that we’ve ordered thus... far. This time we got tea leaf salad, pumpkin chicken and kebat chicken. Tea lead salad has a great mixture of differenttexture- crispy, crunchy, and soft. The tea leaf sauce also made the dish more peculiar. The chicken in the two chicken disheswere extra tender. Pumpkin stew chicken is great with rice. Kebat chicken is delicious but I hope it had more vegetables. Ourgoal is to come here more often and order something new every time. Read more

Food was very tasty; liked the vibe; great service. Good menu selection. I had the squash (or was it pumpkin?) stew. The menu... said it came with tofu, but I had to ask for that (or chicken, your choice) it was not spicy at all (which I LOVED!) goodflavor. A bit skimpy on the broccoli but otherwise a good portion. I recommend ordering a side of rice. Also got the palada fordessert! it came with orange slices and vanilla ice cream, VERY GOOD and great to share. Read more

Phenomenal service and amazing food is always a great combo, and this Murphy st Burmese restaurant satisfied our cravings. I got... the egg and okra curry with jasmine rice (extra) and an Arnold Palmer, and we also got samosas to share. As you can see, portionsizes are generous and worth it. The curry was quite flavorful, the jasmine rice was well cooked, and the Arnold Palmer wasn'ttoo sweet, just right. The ambience both inside and outside is pleasant and the servers were kind. We came on a Sunday afternoonand it wasn't too busy. I recommend this spot! Read more

So happy to see this Burmese place in Sunnyvale now! The food is great, staff was extremely friendly and really enjoyed the... experience. We tried the rainbow salad, we usually go for the tea leaf salad but loved the rainbow salad as well. It comes with22 different ingredients. Samosas soup was very yummy and highly recommended. The samosa and potatoes come on the side. Nangyi thoke tasted amazing too. It is a rice noodle with coconut curry. Absolutely loved all of these dishes, the spice levels, flavor were perfect. They also have few wine and beer options, which goes along with the food. If you like Burmese food, thisplace is a must try! Read more

Lovely Burmese woman-owned Burmese restaurant in Sunnyvale! As a vegetarian Burmese person, I was super excited to see the... extensive options for vegetarians. The prices are very fair for the large portions. The garlic noodles could taste a bit moregarlicy. The tofu was super crispy and the samosas were just like from home in Yangon. Service was also great. Cassandra (owner)walked around herself to check on everyone and the atmosphere was lovely. Excited to try more. Read more
