Reviews for Bikaner Sweets in Sunnyvale, CA
Amazing food. Vada Pav was very tasty. Chaat was fresh without any aftertaste from yogurt. It seemed dinner time was very busy... so we got our order super late. We had to wait almost 30 minutes for our tandoori roti while chola was already there gettingcold. The owner was nice enough to apologize in person and gave us some complimentary Jalebi, which by the way is the highlightof this place. I would definitely relive my childhood memories theough here by getting hot Pyaaz Kachori and hot Jalebi formorning breakfast. Soooo good!!! Read more
Such an amazing and wholesome experience. Being a North Indian , I always enjoy some good Rajasthani meal. We went here last... night, Bikanos and Bikaner Sweet is owned by same person but their menu and kitchen is different as Bikaner sweets is vegetarianonly and Bikanos is not. But you can order from Bikaner sweets and sit at Bikanos to enjoy your meal. Coming to the food part,we had Pani puri (9/10) , Raj Kachori (8/10), Onion Kachori (10/10) , Chole bhature (8/10) , Malai Kofta (10/10), Kulcha (2/10)very hard , Garlic Naan (6/10) , Aloo Bedmi (7/10), Gatte ki sabji (1/10) not good at all! , Jalebi (1000/10) soo fresh andcrispy!!! I'm definitely coming back for the Kachori and Jalebi :) Read more
Best jalebi I've had in America. Thanks to Chef Vikram at the live jalebi counter. I also really liked the pyaaz kachori because... it was freshly made. Read more
Very very overpriced. We ordered Kashmiri kofta for $13 and it had exactly 2 pieces (which were tiny). Was left shocked and... stunned when we ordered dahi bhala and got two *very* small pieces of dahi bhallas for $6 or $7. Ridiculous. 2 stars for theChole. Pretty much it. Won?t be returning. Excellent jalebi that is made right in front of you! They also have chaats, pani puri, and more! Lots of Indian street food... goodies. Pay at the cash register and wait at the live jalebi making station outside. They wil gradually work their way throughall the customers with receipts. Eventually, you'll get your fresh jalebi! One order ($5.99) is enough for a couple friends toshare! The jalebi comes out hot, rich in flavor, and dripping with sugar. So delicious! I also got two orders of Rasmalai, which is one of my favorite sweets! Definitely will come back to try their Rasgulla next time. This place can get quite busy onthe weekends. I waited about 10-15 minutes in line and another 10 minutes outside (in the cold) for jalebi! Definitely bring ajacket if you're here at night. Read more
Great place for Indian street food. This place is the closest to the Indian street food you could get around the Bay Area. Raj... kachori was delicious, there are very few Indian places which serve raj kachori. Out of pyaz kachori (onion kachori) and dalkachori (lentil kachori) I enjoyed the pyaz kachori more. Although both tasted good. They make it fresh as you place anorder. They also have a jalebi stand, which serves fresh jalebis, along with many Indian sweets. The service/coordination andoperations could have been better, but it?s new place, hopefully it will get better. Read more
The only place in bay area which has bhature. Other places just have puri. Pyaz kachori was somehow even better than... bhature. Jalebi and rabri were excellent Read more
The ambience is dull and sad but the food is good. I wish they had similar vibe of original Bikanervala in Delhi. We ordered... Jalebi - which they make fresh, it?s think crispy hot so absolutely delicious!! Also ordered rasmalai which was good too alongwith Choley Bhature - nice Bhature but not exactly like you get in Delhi still closest ones I have eaten in the Bay Area, choleylooked pretty good but taste was average. No pickled onions which adds that oomph factor to Choley Bhature but rather had rawonions, green chili and lemon wedge. Overall it?s good but not same as we get in northern india. Read more
