The locals say this place is like eating home made home. I am a local, and I am not sure I would say that. I've gone here once.... I ordered some camarones a la diabla (shrimp with hot sauce). Tomato sauce tasted right out of the can, and shrimp tasted likeit was boiled. Plus side to this place is the customer service! Lady that attended me at that time was good. The handmadetortillas are a great addition to this place. Update: I tried the torre de mariscos and that was very good. I hear people saythat the shrimp is raw. Keep in mind, the way that shrimp is prepared on this dish is that it gets marinated raw in lime juicefor 15 minutes, and then it goes to the plate mixed with whatever else they put on it. So, in a sense the shrimp is raw, butthat is normal. If you are not a fan of eating raw seafood like sushi, I would recommend to order another plate (maybe a coctelde cameron). ceviche de camaron, not as good as it was before, they used big chopped shrimp and it looked and tasted as if was not fully... cooked, needed more lemon. it was slimy and chewy. Read more
This is the best Mexican food I've ever had outside of Mexico, seriously! The tortillas are out of this world.
