We couldn\'t recommend the experience at The Restaurant at Hill Farm enough. The food was absolutely phenomenal! I was surprised... at the creativity and variety of the courses, and the fact that it?s mostly all grown a few yards away takes farm to tableconcept to the next level (considering you could practically see them walking the food from the farm to the table). The communaldining vibe was really cool and was a great way to experience the different dishes and have some good conversations. They wereincredibly accommodating; there were plenty of vegetarian courses alongside some incredible lamb and trout.\n\nThe Restaurant isdefinitely worth the visit and be sure to come hungry. Incredible dinner(s)! We visited Hill Farm during their opening weekend and ended up eating at the restaurant twice instead of... venturing to town due to the absolutely delicious food! Another aspect which we enjoyed is the variation between the twodinners on back to back nights. Each menu was carefully crafted, using unique and fresh ingredients grown right on the farm\'sproperty and we were blown away with two very different meals. Great selection of wine as well.\n\nBreakfast at the main innwas also fabulous and cozy. Stayed here on the opening wknd and it was amazing! Views of mountain and valleys were gorgeous and food was so fresh and... delicious. Very cozy and welcoming vibe with fire places, delicious breakfast, garden tour, wine tasting, and a dinner from thegarden to top it off! When we finished our outstanding two nights of dinners at Hill Farm Inn recently, we wished we had yet another night at the Inn... to savor the Hill Farm dining experience. Each course on the tasting menu was exquisite, from the farm-grown vegetable salads(adorned with edible flowers), to the creative sauces accompanying the entrees, and to the picture-perfect confection of fruitand merengue for dessert. Service was cheerful and efficient. Ambiance was warm and inviting. The view from the outdoor patiois Vermont gorgeous. We look forward to our next visit. Read more
We had a wonderful dinner!! First of all the space is fantastic with beautiful decor and light at sunset. It made me feel right... at home. We really enjoyed the tasting menu at The Restaurant at Hill Farm during our stay at Hill Farm. This is farm to table at its... finest. And we really enjoyed Chef Austin?s use of open fire cooking. My wife and I had such a great experience at Hill Farm. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, great service, and the food was... phenomenal. We also stayed overnight at the inn. Our room was beautiful and everyone was super friendly. They even have alpacas!We will definitely be returning. We highly recommend it! Read more
