The hostess and waitstaff were kind and helpful. The charcuterie board was incredibly delicious. We had the ribeye for our meal,... which was great. I especially loved the cauliflower pine nut side, and sauces they had with it too. Read more

Must have a reservation! We happen to get lucky that someone cancelled - so we were able to get in. We all shared the dirty... fries - and they were killer! We were practically licking the plate!! We also had the salmon, the flat iron steak, thecauliflower steak, and the ribeye. We all shared the red potato mash, asparagus, and squash. The mash needed a bit of salt. Theasparagus was excellent! And we loved the flavors of the squash, but the squash was a little underdone. I highly recommend themountain cooler! Very tasty! Read more

Had a wonderful meal at the Foundry Grill while we were waiting for our room at Sundance to be ready. The food, rustic decor,... and service was outstanding. Probably had the best brussel sprout dish ever here! My son loved his smores based dessert as well. Read more

My spouse and I ate at The Foundry Grill for a dinner this past week. It was our anniversary and we love coming up to Sundance.... We came up in 2019 for our anniversary to take a lift up the mountain and ate at The Owl Bar. That was nice. This time, however, was a let down. At The Foundry Grill, we left feeling underwhelmed and disappointed -- like the experience should have been morefor what it cost and for the service we received. Here are some thoughts from our experience: 1. The reservation. When we didour reservation online, there was a prompt that asked if this reservation was for a special occasion. It offered up celebrationsto click on. I clicked on "Anniversary" and figured that perhaps since their online reservation platform was soliciting thisinformation for them that maybe they would acknowledge the occasion during our meal. They did not. We did not expect fanfare butI was left curious as to why they would request certain information if there's not a plan in place to acknowledge it. 2. Thefood. In general, the food was fine but when we paid the $145 check at the end though we were a bit deflated and wondered if ithad really been worth that price. We ordered the mushroom toast as an appetizer. It was delicious. We ordered the 12oz PrimeDenver Steak and the 8oz Flat Iron steaks along with the potatoes. The potatoes tasted good. The steaks, which totaled around$80 together, were fine but not worth what they cost, in our opinion. I've had a similar quality 8oz from Sizzler. Furthermore,we have literally never sent food back at a restaurant before, but when we ordered both the steaks medium rare and the 12ozsteak came out very, very rare inside, we requested it be cooked a little longer. Additionally, both steaks had significantdifficult-to-cut gristle (even the steak knives were having problems cutting through it) and the 12oz had a fair amount of faton it. At the end we ordered the lemon meringue dessert. 2. The service. When we arrived, we we Read more

We usually go to the Tree Room when we visit Sundance but decided to go to The Foundry for lunch. Our server was great and the... location and atmosphere were awesome. The food was good but not great. I got the Black Angus Burger wrapped in lettuce and mywife got the Blackened Salmon tacos. The tacos were really good but the best part were the pinto beans. The burger was decentbut nothing to write home about. Side note, I didn?t get any pics of the door or restaurant but they were filming a movie whenwe were up there so got a clip of it ???? Read more

Delicious food. Would have been 5 stars other than there was only one waitress for the entire restaurant so service was... extremely slow. The waitress herself was lovely she just had too many tables to look after. The brussel sprouts were amazing aswell as the pear salad. The primerib dip was delicious and they had the option for an impossible burger instead of the meatburger. Although the food was amazing i do not know if i would visit again unless they had more wait staff Read more
