Burgers were delicious and nice portion sizes. Thanks for the vegan menu to accommodate some of our party. Our waitress seemed... newer but did great. One in our party left an item at the table and thankfully our waitress noticed and caught us outside beforewe left, thank you! 4 stars as it’s a bit pricey and several flys were bothering our table near the window, but thanks forbeing in the Bucky Book. Unique selection of burgers/drinks that always leave you wanting to back to try another flavor combinations! Also having choices... of grass fed beef, and vegetarian burger options that should not be overlooked. A family friendly sports bar restaurant that youshould come for on your birthday to have them ring the bell and get special drinks for you family and friends! Read more
Steve was one of the best bartenders I've ever had. My wife and I arrived near the end of my birthday on July 26 at about 11pm.... He told us right away in a calm and friendly manner that he was the only one still working and would probably close up bymidnight. There were about six other customers who all left by about 11:30. We were chatting with Steve about his time workingat the Madison location Gritty as well as the Sun Prairie one and enjoying his stories and experiences with Wisconsin Badgerspeople throughout the years. Next thing we know, it is after 12, Steve is halfway done with his cleaning, and still refilling myfree bottomless birthday beer mug because we were enjoying ourselves so much. We left by about 12:20, Steve had a nice tip for alittle over an hour's time with us, and I had one of the best bar experiences I've had in a long time. The only thing I wouldhave changed is I would have got there sooner! P. S. Apparently on Tuesday they have double power hour, with certain discounteddrinks from 10pm until midnight, instead of 11pm. Had dinner with my wife, we both enjoyed the atmosphere, and outdoor seating is available should you enjoy that. We ate inside... for "date night", and when momma likes it - life is good fo us all, am I right about that? Plenty of seating, plenty of choiceson the menu. Read more
This place was surprisingly not too busy when we visited on Saturday night of memorial day weekend. The ambiance of the place is... very casual and fun. Since this place is tucked away in a little corner the outdoor patio didn't feel very loud. We tried thewings and the black bean burger which were both really good. Also, I would highly recommend you try the world's smallestchocolate sundae. It's just a small shot glass of chocolate syrup topped with ice cream and whipped cream but absolutely amazingnonetheless. It's just the right size to satisfy your sweet tooth without feeling stuffy. Overall a really good experience, willdefinitely come back again. Read more
Our server, Noah, was awesome!!! The white cheddar cheese curds are the perfect starter. The Jason Pork Pretzel sandwich is so... tasty. The brats were just as delicious!! The waffle fries were super crispy and hot. Read more
The atmosphere here is pretty fun - it’s a sports bar combined with casual outdoor dining, combined with a family restaurant.... The food is good - went with the grass-fed burger and fries and for the small upcharge I’d say it was worth it. The servicewas on point too, in a time of difficult to obtain help and employees. Parking can be a bit of a bother, but all in all it’s agood time to be sure. Read more
I don't post reviews immediately because I want businesses to have an opportunity to impress. This review is based on 2 out of 3... failed attempts. Last time we ordered to go, they gave us our food and 1 out of 2 shakes. So they had to go make the 2nd shakewhich took 5 minutes and wasn't the correct flavor. This time, they gave me our food and zero shakes. So I waited up front for10-15 minutes while my food sat on their counter and the shakes they brought me are what you see in the picture. $8 for a shakeand it's not even full. I brought it back to the manager and asked if $8 for a shake that isn't full is common and he said yes,but it should have whip cream. WHAT??!!! So, I didn't want to wait any longer because my food was already cold and there was nocompensation for the issue I experienced. I really wanted this restaurant to meet my expectations but, after tonight's visit,sadly it falls very short. Read more
