Went out with my family for a nice dinner on our last day vacationing in Sun Peaks B.C. Decided on the Majic Cattle Guard Diner... which was located below our accommodations. The Chef was out front of the restaurant earlier that afternoon and mentioned he wascooking ribs for the special that night and that we should give them a try. My daughter and I ordered the ribs, worst mistakeever. We were served a huge hunk of cold, under cooked, uncutable , unedible piece of pig covered in a bottle of bbq sauce.Absolutely disgusting. We were looking forward to fall off the bone ribs and that's not what we got. The waitress informed us they were cooked for a whole 12 minutes in the oven, no wonder they were gross! My other daughter ordered a grilled veggiesandwich, took one bite and that was it. A mushy mix of something covered in way to much sauce on a moldy bun. That's not it, mywife ordered a taco salad, it had unidentifiable ingredients and was also a pile of mush in a deep fried something. Finally myyoungest daughter ordered a grilled chicken sandwich on the same moldy bun, she ate half but couldn't stand the strange flavorany more. Overall we ate the commercial fries that came with the sandwiches, a few mouthfuls of taco salad and some mushypotatoe salad. Worst food we have ever experienced at a restaurant!! They didn't charge for the rib dinners but charged foreverything else, over $100 and we left very hungry and extremely disappointed. Stay clear of this terrible restaurant! Read more

Friendly staff and nice decor but the food was underwhelming. Donair was decent but a very small portion which was shocking for... $21. Also ordered the Mac & cheese which was bland and reminded a little of eating KD. Read more

This was really one of the worst burgers I've ever eaten. The meat tasted like it was grilled for 30 minutes too long, was tough... and dry, and was covered in processed cheese. The fries were overcooked. The server paid little attention to us, insteadfavoring a table of people she must have known from outside of the business (there were only two tables of customers, us andthem). I have no idea who has been giving this restaurant favorable reviews, but it really needs to get taken down a star or 3. Read more

Had a great leisurely breakfast scramble here today. Very fresh and tasty. Perfect eggs. Excellent coffee and the owner was... very personable and not stingy with the refills! I highly recommend this spot! You won't regret it. Read more

Such a good place to try! I ordered a waffle with ice cream on top. The combination was so nice. It tasted heavenly and changed... my mood after some bites. Superb! Great old school dinner look on the inside, and really unique food to fill your insides. Their fries are a cut above... too! Short golden potatoes, wedged, perfectly fried, then a course salt. Mmmmm. I got an order of gravy too. Unique. Smooth.Delicious!
