The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, we were informed when we paid that it would be a wait for chicken. What was... supposed to be 12 mins, turned into 30. Another very disappointing Popeye's experience in Sumter SC. The Drive Thru service was They have no unprofessional. My order... wasn't repeated or confirmed and as usual it was wrong. It took several minutes to back acknowledged and even longer to get thevery simple order. My order was the "two can dine" that was posted all over the locale and on the marquis. It was discontinued.I asked how when it's flashing everywhere with NO expiration date. My order: a 2 PC meal, with a short thigh and a breast,double fries and a Sprite. They have no Sprite. So I remove the drink and place the rest of my 2 meals order. I order, #4, shecalls back, some 4 pieces I said no, number 4 and then she got it. At the pay/pick up window a way too long wait again. And mindyou, it's NOT busy and she ISN'T working alone. Because I'm ordering for someone else, I don't open the bags HUGE MISTAKE!!! Mydouble fries was double RICE which was not wanted. Coming from overseas, I wanted a chicken sandwich and Mac n cheese. When I pulled to the window, the representative stated they... didn?t have any made unfortunately. I expressed How much I wanted it due to being in the states and having to go back overseas.The representative told her who I think manager and she asked me to pull up because she would make me some! Didn?t receive everything in my order, no biscuit and sauce, HARD and dry fries. Wouldn?t let me finish my order and gave me... dirty tops on my drink. Nothing was in stock. Didn?t have most of what they were advertising. 10 mins before they took the orderthen tried to rush me out the way through drive thru. I haven?t been in months but I don?t think I will be back. Their app is difficult to use and I waited over 45 minutes in the drive through to pick up my mobile order. When I asked for... some sauce (they don?t give you the option on the app to choose) she wanted to take my whole order back to replace whatever theyhad put in there. Not impressed. This is by far the worst Popeyes I have ever been too they constantly forget items in your order, they are always ?trying to get... the kitchen caught? so it will be a 15-30 minute wait. You will wait at the microphone to speak your order and nobody will sayanything and when you finally say ?hello? there is always some excuse on why you can?t get food. Avoid this place at all cost goto cook out across the street at least they?re nice to you. Read more

I hate how bad the Popeyes is in Sumter SC is. I love Popeyes but never been to the one in my town without incident. The crew is... rude at night , the chicken will be over cooked and cold. They will never have what you ask for. The order will always be wrong.And the last time the woman forgot she was taking our order and started talking to people in the building. Later came back andasked to take our order again. After I told her we were in middle of giving the order she could only repeat one item that wasplaced. I wish so much that something would be done about this place to better it. Everyone I speak with says how much they hategoing to it even though it?s kind of new to our town.
