Arrived at the facility and was able to order and was waited in promptly. Ordered the Mac and cheese as well as plantains. When... I tell you everything was so hot and delicious. The Mac and cheese was cheesy and good. The gravy with the plantains provided itso much flavor. They were fried nicely. Honestly was my first tike trying it and already planning to go back tomorrow. Ordered 4 lunch plates of several different combinations. Was told it would be a little over an hour and a half. Had to change... out one dish due to availability of ingredients. That having been said, the food was ready in time and was fantastic. The currygoat was fall off the bone tender, cabbage vegetable mix was a nice blend of softer and crisper textures. I prefer a more'casserole' style Mac and cheese, but this was still serviceable. My son very much enjoyed the curry chicken. Neither weretremendously hot spicy, but did have a nice balance of seasoning versus heat. Lunch portions were generous enough to leave someleftover sides for the next day. Everything reheated well. I called an order for curry chicken with rice and peas and also the fried chicken with rice and peas. In which I was told it... would be a 15 to 30 wait and they asked for my number and said they would call me when it was ready. So 45 minutes went by and Itried calling but no answer so I drove up there just for the lady behind the counter saying that they ran out of chicken andthey had to thaw the chicken and it would another 15 to 20 minutes so I left and went into gas station to waste some time. Iwent back there 35 minutes later and it still wasn't ready. So I ended up calling after them to remove the chicken and I askedthem what they already had available and I was told the only thing there were waiting on was the chicken so I told them tochange it to the oxtails and she said that was fine and that it would be a 15 minute wait...and I hung up the phone I'vealready waited over 2 hours....and I have to wait for something that you said is already available??!! Yeah you can cancel this.Please do better not only for your business but also you customers alike. Read more
Great food! Small place with minimal seating. The wait was lengthy but the food was fresh and hot. The cashier was very nice and... explained that the sides we ordered was just put on so it would be a wait. We were fine with that. Oxtails were great! Jerkchicken was excellent. A healthy portion of Mac and cheese and cabbage. Very clean facility. We will be back! Read more
