Wife and I met with a friend and were able to visit without feeling rushed. Both ladies working the counter were super nice.... Food was fresh and hot. Side portions could have been a little larger. Read more
Very clean establishment. Ample staff for guests. Food served hot and not rushed out, under prepared. Plenty of parking spaces... for this area. Sweet tea was too super sweet otherwise good. Soft drinks properly carbonated. Read more
I have never experienced the service I got at Captain D?S tonight awful. Jacob his name told me that this fish is expectable for... $15. There was nothing he could do. He did not offer to recook. Did not offer to add extra or nothing. Fish looks like it hasbeen cut in half. Oh and it supposed to be Catfish. Another employee said it was catfish but it was not cooked and dipped right, so she offered to cook more fish. I?m going out to my car with the food that wasn?t right to get my phone so I can take apicture. This Jacob dude follows behind me heading out towards the door and said hey you need to give that food back in orderfor me to cook more. I took that bag and threw it on the counter and it hit the floor. The night manager comes from the backsaying I will give you your money back and I told her I was posting this. She told me why don?t you tell them how you threw thefood at my employee She told me she should call the police on me for throwing that bag at her employee. I told her I threw iton the counter and it hit the floor. This is a $15 plate small pieces of catfish that didn?t look like catfish at all. Customerservice was horrible between this young boy and the night manager wasn?t no better. I will never go back to that Captain D?S onLiberty Street in Sumter SC. This is how this food was served. Food was still hot when I got home, but not enough cole slaw was in the container. Food preparer needs to change gloves more... frequently & reframe from touching his glasses, while preparing trays. Fountain machine needs to be cleaned. Another customerwas going to get Pepsi & saw dark matter on the dispenser; she declined. Mgr, asst mgr, & crew needs to clean that machine ASAP! Read more
Placed our order after waiting at the speaker for a hot minute, said my order twice, pulled to the 1st window and as the guy... repeated the order I told my bf to make sure he said a popcorn shrimp and fish dinner, which he didn't. My bf told him that iswhat it was supposed to be, so he walked off (leaving the window open) we heard, who i assume was the manager, asking what theprice difference was, to which he replied $1 and she informed him he needed to be careful because people try that all the time.???? my bf tipped the guy 5$, which is something he does regularly even at drive thru. We get home and realize I had been givenbutterfly shrimp and fish, we asked for extra tartar and we got 3 packs, the food was good but it's not what I ordered. Themoney was definitely not an issue or I wouldn't have ordered it, the staff needs to be a little more professional or wait tillthe customer leaves before accusing them of trying to get a freebie. Let Me say, this was my first and last visit to tour establishment. I Ordered a fish sandwich with cheese and fries. This is... what my husband brought home. I'd give y'all a 0 if I could. Whoever is running the drive thru at this location tonight (12-5-22 @ 7:15 p.m.) is super rude.... My husband asked about the gumbo being spicy and the girl taking the order didn't answer the first time so he repeated himself.She then became snappy with him when she decided to answer the question and said she didn't know because she doesn't eat gumbo.Little did she know, it was for our one year old son! (because he can't chew anything off the children's menu and clearly can'task nor answer anyone for himself) Instead of being rude to the ones that help support a paycheck, go ask another co-worker ifthey know anything about the food on the menu or politely respond to the customer that you're unsure of something. Not once werewe rude to this girl. It doesn't cost a thing to be nice to someone even if you're having a rough day. Please work on thecustomer service.
