Grilled Shrimp was delicious! Large bread Roll was very hard, didn't eat that, but everything was good, even though food was... not hot, but not cold. We looked up on fb and thought the prices were best around for steaks too. We get there and menu reflected Market Prices, which... were are bit pricey. Our guest wanted beer and they don't serve there and were out of several items. We didn't give them ourbusiness at that time. Read more
Hostess was very nice waitress was attentive most of the food wasnt very good...fish no taste , hamburger steak tasted like a... frozen patty gravy wasnt very good either, baked potato good, roll delicious gunpowder shrimp was okay but a bit chewy , thesteak was cooked (medium) and cut like butter but the seasoning dumped on it was too much, cajun corn and potatoes flavor wasgood but served cold. Ok so here's an honest review. I ordered the great seafood platter. The fried shrimp had a good taste, cooked just right. The... oysters were cooked way to long and were hard almost all the way through. The fish were grilled and were good, had nice charmarks on them. The hushpuppies were excellent.The boiled shrimp were good, peeled just right.I got a baked potato it was cookedto long. The crab cake was poor at best. It had very little crab meat in it, almost all breadcrumbs and dry as the desert. Thecoleslaw was good but looked like a cup of milk it was so soaked down. The gumbo was not good at all it was bland and I couldbarely make out what I was eating. Definitely not much seafood. This dish came in at 30$. I would not recommend it. The foodpresentation was low low low for the price it was a bunch of food sliding around on a plastic platter way to big for the dish.The staff were pleasant and nice, the restaurant itself was clean and had a good atmosphere about it. The fried dill pickles were good, the fried cheese curds was scrumptious and the fried green tomatoes was ok. I got the Great... Seafood Platter. The oysters was good, the fried shrimp was ok, the fried catfish had very little taste. The boiled shrimp hadvery little taste, the lump crabmeat crab cake was good and was mostly crab meat, the gumbo was pretty good, I just prefer athicker juice. The hush puppies aren't good. All in all it was a fairly good meal but I probably wouldn't go back unless I wasjust in the area then I would order a to go order of the fried cheese curds, they were the best part of the meal except for theconversation.
