Reviews for Dixie's Home Cookin' in Sumner, WA
If you like breakfasts and lunches, this is the place to go! Portion size is out of control. Our waiter was very pleasant and... friendly throughout the entire visit and gave us great recommendations from the menu. I ended up ordering the Dixie BreakfastMonte Carlo sandwich and an orange juice. The OJ tasted freshly squeezed and came in a large frosted mug to keep it cool. TheMonte Carlo was huge and I could only finish half of it. It had layers of French toast bread, eggs, bacon, sausage and cheesewhich made it one of the thickest sandwiches I've ever had. You have your choice in potatoes to accompany the meal (home fries, french fries, waffle fries, tater tots etc) and they were seasoned nicely. My friend had the Reuben and it was pretty hefty aswell. Be sure you're hungry if you come and visit. There is parking in the front but if it's full, they also have some parkingin the back with an access door. Read more

This place is an amazing breakfast joint I was blown away. My husband and I weren't planning on going out; but some friends... talked us into it this place. Dixie's Home cookin' proportions are hefty. They have many healthy options and not so healthyoptions lol. I got the California style Egg Benedict as I do at any breakfast restaurant I go to and theirs has so far been thebest. The bacon was tasty and crunchy. The engliah muffing which I got on the side was moist and falvorful. Their home frieswere also very crunchy and seasoned nicely. The poached egg was just a tad over cooked but I like them almost raw so it's veryhard to get it perfect for me. I pick the Cottage cheese side which I thought was a nice side option. You don't see that at manyplaces I thought that was a nice touch. My husband got a side order of fruit which he gave to me and it wasn't a normal fruitbowl it was a fruit salad with all kinds of fresh fruit, delicious. Dixie's home cookin' definitely got me and my husband asreturn customers for future trips to Washington state. Thank you Dixie's home cookin' for a wonderful start to the day. Read more
Best Breakfast food I?ve had in the last 4 years. Don?t sleep on Dixie?s. I had the Two-Two-Four. 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, and 4... sausage links. The pancakes are perfectly fluffy and sausage links were cooked to perfection. A little crispy on the outside. Myfave. I ate my food so fast I forgot to take a photo. 12/10 would return. Service was also excellent! Update: I have returnedand this time took some photos. Philly Sandwich & Hangover bowl. 10/10 Read more

Breakfast date today with my beautiful fiance. The place was super busy. We were seated very promptly from a happy and positive... staff. The atmosphere was perfect . The staff was so kind and welcoming. Some of the best and timely service I've had in along time. Orange juice served in a frozen mug was a nice touch. Portions of food were generous, and the quality of the foodwas top tier. Definitely tip my hat to a job well done. Read more
