Very ordinary. My shrimp dish was very tasty Unfortunately, my boyfriends dinner was "sad".white rice??tough pork loin. No... veggies. Plate essentially bare. Bread was ordinary.how do you serve WHITE rice in a Portuguese restaurant? Oh, the chips soggytoo. Water was nice and cold.diet soda nice and cold. Most items listed MP. Except chicken and shrimp. My wife and i went here for a date night . They had a good ratings on goolgle so we decided to go. Both me and my wifes food... was bad . I ordered the steak with ham and egg on it and ask for the steak to be cooked medium and it was rare the sause had aweird taste. My wife order the chicken in garlic sauce with white rice an vegetable her chicken had no color to it and the ricewas hard and tasted weird. Read more
As someone who is Portuguese and usually dines in Newark for Portuguese food I must say that this place is amazing and the food... is excellent! My boyfriend and me will definitely 100% come back! The service was great and the ambiance is comforting.Wonderful place. Highly recommend! Read more
Simply Amazing! I'm really impressed with the quality of the food. The staff is super friendly, they've helped since my phone... call to book a table until last minute. They even provided with additional instructions on Brazilian food which would becomeavailable once a month (Acarajé). The place is fancy, well decorated and tables outside were good. Nobody is going to bebothering you passing behind your chair. Another thing to mention is that the price. I believe I paid a fair price for tastybrazilian food, much cheaper and much better than some Brazilian restaurants in Manhattan.
