The steak burrito only had a few tiny slivers of steak which were overcooked. The chips were fresh and warm; they were some of... the best I have had in a restaurant. I give it a 3.8 star rating. Place was small, (5 - 4 tops and 3 booths) as well as the menu. Open one year on March 21st I... believe. TK our server was great. I hope you like paper straws! My wife had the Madres bowl which was very good. I had greenenchiladas, they were ok, not a whole lot of flavor. The cheesy chicken quesadilla was very good with the fresh guacamole. Decorwas nada. Overall I will go back. Prices very fair. I never made it to the bathroom to check for cleanliness, but the restaurantit self was very clean. Read more

Small restaurant yet family owned and authentic Mexican cuisine. We ordered the madre steak salad which was good but bland, it... needed a bit more salt. We also had chicken nachos and that was great. The one thing that threw me off is that you do not getchips and salsa unless you order food, anything. They were fast to serve us and made sure we were well taken care of throughour meal and after. The atmosphere is inviting and very home like. There was only one server and one cook, so it?s a sityourself restaurant. All in all the pricing was fair for the portion of lunch we got. The only thing that needs improvement isthe sitting area and a bit more attention to detail when it comes to the ordering of the food as we had asked for some items tobe removed due to some allergies and they weren?t therefore we did it ourselves. Delicious guacamole 5 stars. Decent tacos although they weren't super flavorful compared to others I've had and the shells got... soggy and fell through. They accidentally mixed up the sauces on our orders and ended up putting mole on our beef enchiladawhich was really good- the mole had a dry flavor, not bad. I really liked their rice on the side which had corn, cilantro,tomatoes, lime juice. Their service was nice but it did take a long while for the food to come out even though there was onlyone other small family inside. My main issue though was the price because it was decent mexican food but for 4 small tacos andtwo small enchiladas and a side of guacamole it came to $40 which is just way too much in my opinion. I would still recommendpeople to go there because everyone has different preferences and pet peeves but over all I wasn't overly impressed. Read more
