Amazing Amazing Amazing. There is truly no better way to describe my experience this evening! My husband and I took advantage of... a rare childless night and loved the owner feedback on his reviews. We are so happy we gave this place a chance. From theoutside it looks like a general pizza joint, but the food makes up for that. Yes, if it's busy, you will have to wait. Yes, theydo run out of ingredients on the super busy evenings. Don't order this for delivery. You may be disappointed. Their pizza ismeant to be eaten hot and fresh. Not 45 minutes after its made. Deliciously Authentic! This is my 3rd visit to Antica Napoli. Being Italian and finding authentic Italian food in the low... country is a challenge so when we found this restaurant we were thrilled. The pizza is wood fired and all of the choices areamazing. On my last visit, I ordered the special which was lasagna and a salad. The pasta noodles were fresh and homemade andthe rich filling was so delicious that I finished the entire serving. The salad was fresh and the dressing so tasty. My sisterordered the other special which was spaghetti with meatballs. When you're Italian, ordering meatballs out is risky however, themeatballs were delicious. We were treated to complimentary cannoli and they were just like what we used to get in Little Italyin NYC. Kudos to the wonderful chef and staff at Antica Napoli. We are definitely going back! I was really excited to visit Antica after seeing it's one of the few restaurants in SC part of True Neapolitan Pizza... Association (Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana, AVPN). The pizza was really just average...not horrid but definitelysomething missing. Meatball starter was good and albeit slow, the service was friendly too. Read more
