Reviews for MAAK - Sulphur Springs in Sulphur Springs, TX
Dragon roll (ask them to fry it), temptation roll and volcano roll were good. Lots of unique items to choose from. Sushi was... quite expensive but slightly cheaper than the average sushi restaurant. 40-50 bucks should provide more than enough food for twopeople. We had the option of eating inside Maak or inside the adjacent restaurant which offered a much better atmosphere; lessnoisy, sophisticated in its design and with better lighting. They also served dishes that were more local such as steak. Servicewas good. Read more

By far my favorite Sushi place. The service is amazing, the quality of the sushi and food is top notch. It?s hard to find places... like this in small towns. But this is way better and more worth my money than the Competitors. The girls who work there are soso sweet and will talk to you if you come in alone which is nice. I?ve eaten here at least 5 times, and plan on going back manymore. Absolutely love this place!! Read more
This place was good. Not a traditional sushi restaurant though. Don't get me wrong the sushi was delicious just not what I was... expecting. They had a wide variety of options on the menu so if you wanted to go with friends and each get something verydifferent this is the place for you. Such a cute downtown area! Read more
Sushi guy is always impressive. I was not sure about "street sushi" but turns out it's delicious! The temptura is my favorite... but I also like the Cali and the Phili as well. Hubby loves round eye. They have a house sauce that's to die for! Definitelyrecommend ???? Read more
My family tried the SuperFan pack and we were disappointed . The sushi rice was hard and dry like it was not cooked right and... all three rolls tasted mediocre. My family was super excited to try sushi guy since we love sushi we eat at shoguns and Kyotoregularly. Sushi guy in Sulphur Springs May just need more time to get everything together since they opened a week ago. We willtry again in a month and I?ll update the review then. (Update) we tried it again about a month later and still not worth it wewill not be back. If the owner doesn?t change something soon they will be out of business by the end of the year. Everyone I?vetalked to said they don?t like it and would rather drive to greenville for shoguns. Read more
