We had a great dinner on the patio here! Parking is a bit challenging on a Friday night but they do have some spots out front/on... the side of the building. First come, first serve. We were able to sit right away as a party of 3 at 6pm on a Friday. Wine andbeer list have plenty of choices, there?s a handful of signature cocktails too. No zero proof options for the sober crowd. High thyme was a good experience. The staff and management was so friendly and helpful. The food was a little pricey but worth... the money. My wife had the scallops and I had the pork chops. Between the staff and the regular customers my children (2 and 7months) were entertained and happy. This seems to be a well kept secret for the folks who live on the island year round. If I could give 0 stars, I would!!! I?m down here to visit a friend. We were initially told the wait was approximately 30... minutes. We came back 40 minutes later and there was still a wait for a table. The Hostess, Emily (not sure if she?s the Ownerand/or Manager) asked if we?d like drinks since we were STILL waiting for a table, so we said sure. I think the assumption wasthat was going to be comped (more on that later). I have lots of food allergies so I ordered the special of fried chicken w/greens and asparagus. I specifically asked if it was white meat and the waitress assured me it was. So my dish comes and itlooks like a chicken wing and not sure what the other piece of chicken was BUT NOT WHITE MEAT ?????????????????????????????????,you can see the chicken in my picture. At this point I?ve waited 1.5 hours for a table by the front door which wasn?t desirableAND the white meat fried chicken, which it WAS NOT white meat. It took approximately 25 minutes for the food to come. I wasgoing to just eat the collard greens and asparagus but they were cold. I?m SO TURNED OFF at this point. SIGH - you get 1 timeto mess up my food and then I?m good. They brought me another margarita, which was billed and club soda was in it. At thispoint I think the waitstaff, Emily and whoever the other blond woman was ready for me to leave. Soooo the bill comes. Not onlywere we charged for the 3 drinks while we waited for a table, they DID NOT comp my drink for screwing up my dinner. NO ONE cameover to apologize for my botched dinner - SIGH. Stopped here for a light supper. The food is outstanding. We had the curried scallop appetizer, very tasty. I had the crab ad... shrimp cake on a Chinese cabbage ad arugula salad. I've been dining out in restaurants for nearly 40 years and I've never had a server as good as DeeDee .She and the entire staff... are efficient and friendly. The food was excellent. We'll definitely be back. Can't wait for the next time!!! Read more
This place is amazing! The hostess was so friendly and we were seated immediately. We really loved the ambience of the patio... dining. Our waitress was awesome. The food was incredible! I had the pan seared grouper over Gouda grits with sweet corn andLima beans. It was delicious. My husband ordered the lasagna and said it was great too. One of my favorite spots around Charleston. For the quality, service and atmosphere, the prices are great. The cauliflower... dip is my favorite thing on the menu. Tuna is also very good. We also usually get the chocolate lava cake, which isamazing. Highly recommended. They don't take reservations, but the wait is never too bad. Read more
