The food was pretty good, but we waited a long time before anyone came to seat us and even longer to get our drink order and be... served. If we weren't very hungry we might have just went somewhere else. Hopefully they were just really busy and they'll getinto a better rhythm soon. The pulled pork is very juicy and tender, which is what we liked about the previous iteration of thisrestaurant, called Hole In The Wall BBQ. Will try it again sometime and see if things have improved with the service. Read more
I hope this new location allows them a more family sit down restaurant vibe because the food and service is phenomenal! The... owner puts so much effort into his establishment/work and it shows. I hear a lot of people complaining about lack of places toeat in Sullivan but Hole In The Wall BBQ absolutely makes up for whatever people believe is lacking. Again, I wish they wouldexpand with more seating and longer/more consistent hours because this would be my go to place every time me and my family wantsto eat out. I would suggest getting their "Super Tots" or the horseshoe (An Illinois staple). Read more
AMAZING bbq and amazing service! Such a terrific place for Sullivan. We ordered takeout for a huge group, and the order was... completed quickly and accurately. Next time I'll definitely eat in! Best bbq tacos ever. They are huge and you get 2 for $5 on Tuesday. Now it's not just good bbq. Most places have good bbq, but... his taco shells are divine. Thick, crispy and tasty. Now the place really is a "hole in the wall", so take it to go if your adiva. Read more
