Great pizza by the slice with courteous staff
Worst pizza service ever. So about 2 weeks ago I ordered a pizza and was given a time, went in there on the time it was a still... 2 hours wait, so all together it was 3 hours, I got a free pizza coupon, when to redeem it today, waited an hour, went there, nopizza, they took my order and cut it up for the display. I stopped at the Sullivan store this morning at 640. I purchased to candy bars that were 2 for$3.00 and a bag of Casey chips... that were supposed to be $1.79. I attempted to use a $10.00 gift card the sale was declined. I added a pack of Marlborocigarettes and used my bank debit card. The cashier charge me $17.91 and refused me a receipt. Upon calling customer service Ifind out my gift card is empty. 1st and last time I ever shop here. Read more
Ordered a taco pizza online for pickup. Got the pizza home and was disappointed to see that they simply took a sausage pizza and... tossed a handful of Doritos and a couple sliced tomatoes on top - no salsa, no refried beans, no lettuce. I called the store,manager on duty apologized (the store had run out of lettuce, but was not sure why pizza was missing everything else) andoffered to remake and DELIVER my pizza. She ran next door to the grocery store to grab more lettuce, remade our pizza, and hadit on our table in less than 30 minutes. Ma'am, whoever you are, if you're reading this review, thank you for going above andbeyond to resolve our issue. We are very grateful and will shop again. Read more
Why is it that most of the time casey's general stores have no paper in the gas pumps? Is this a thing of the past? Why pay at... pumps? Well we gave this store another try and this time we had pizza, soda and got fuel. Still no paper in pumps for receipt.Pizza was dry and hard. It was 1:00 PM. Pizza should of been fresh. Fountain machine was dirty with bugs flying around thenozzles. Wiped with napkin and got nasty gunk. Took napkin and showed clerk. Her response sorry. How many other customers gotbuggy soda? Let me preface by saying that the food has always been good, the problem is that the manager or whoever is in charge of keeping... items in stock isn't ordering enough. I ordered a taco pizza, breadsticks, and wings and was informed that they were out ofsmall cups for marinara sauce when I picked it up. No problem, they put it in a larger cup. Go home to eat my pizza, no tacosauce. Go back to the store to be informed that they are also out of taco sauce. If I had known that from the start, I would'veordered a different pizza and been fine with it. So now I have a pizza that I don't want and cold sides because I had to make asecond trip to get a missing item that they were out of. Read more
Don't know how this place can get a decent rating? Oh I know! Employees, friends of employees, management boosting ratings in... their favor? Has to be! Listen, honestly, this place is DISGUSTING! Just because it's a small town gas station doesn't make itexempt from being a healthy, inviting environment to purchase food especially pizza! Went in occasionally and Everytimewitnessed terrible sights and service! The employees are in and out of the store conversating with friends or who knows out inthe parking lot, and around the store! Witnessed them come right back in and not wash their hands and handle FOOD! They alsotake smoke breaks and do the same! Witnessed a half eaten donut on a few occasions lying around on counters and even ongroceries! Witnessed at night, a fat male in pizza kitchen just leaning over with his elbows directly on floured pizza preptable! Bathrooms are disgusting. Maybe that's why they don't clean their hands! Who knows? One night went in and purchasedgroceries - 20 items, bulky packages and jars and after checking out, It wasn't BAGGED for me! Not even an offer! I HAD TO ASKFOR IT TO BE BAGGED! Guess the clerk wanted me to fumble all my groceries home! Clerk acted like he didn't want to be there, nosmile, no positive attitude from him. I was there just a few minutes past midnight. He took over from a short older woman. Ibelieve his name was Michael. From my receipt, name said Michael. Some guy with glasses with a bad haircut and poorly groomedfacial hair! I just got the best pizza I have ever gotten from this location! Perfectly cooked, appropriate amount of toppings! Very pleased!
