I?ll start off by saying I usually never write reviews, but for a place that has now become our favorite Thai spot, I had to!... Let?s start with the food: Papaya salad- absolutely delicious, great flavors blended together, highly recommend! Salmon greencurry- definitely a favorite. I?ve had green curry plenty of times, and the flavors of this one was so good I wanted to justdrink it! Drunken noodles (chicken)- was super yummy! Def wished we had gotten it more spicy, but the basil added a flavorfulkick to the dish! Would order all these dishes again, and will be going back to try other dishes on the menu! Second, theservice: we were immediately greeted by Nink (Kat) and she was our server. SUPER sweet and bubbly, she went over the menu withus, recommended some great dishes and checked up on us frequently. Jacob was also very kind, and although he wasn?t our server,he checked up on us which I thought was very thoughtful. Both of them very amazing in the service they provided. 10/10! Read more

I got lunch here with a friend. Ordered the lunch special yellow curry with chicken. You can sub the rice for brown rice if... you'd like. $12 for this lunch was well priced! I got a pretty big bowl of curry and it was delicious! I think the chickenbreast was slightly overcooked, but that's just me. Our waitress was very informative when I asked about sugar levels in theirThai Iced Tea and Coffee. You can't adjust the sugar levels on those drinks. All in all, solid Thai restaurant with lunchspecials! Read more

Small Mom & Pop shop in Sugar Land but amazing, authentic Thai food that packs some heat!! We ordered the Chicken Satay, Green... Curry Salmon and Chicken Thai Drunken Noodles. Satay was juicy and the peanut sauce is so good. We have never had salmon ingreen curry and the salmon soaked up all those yummy green curry flavors that we love and it was plentiful. The noodles wereloaded with chicken and veggies and the medium level definitely gave it a kick. Portion was more than enough to share or bringhome for lunch the next day! It's currently BYOB with a corking fee if that's your thing! Menu is labeled with gluten freeoptions and there are tons! Huge plus for us! Read more

Asian restaurants have slightly different take in the making of their curries and standard dishes. None moreso than Thai food.... Around Houston's many Thai restaurants, the curries and sauces are always unique with a large range of spicy ofheat! Sugarland, Texas is a bit far afield for us. After a business meeting there, we went to The Nines, and were delighted howdifferent the familiar dishes tasted. Their tom kha soup was almost velvety in its richness and very slightly sweet. Mypineapple curry feverishly hot at a level 3 on their spice scale which ranges from 1 which is mild to 5 which could make yousweat. The restaurant offers brown rice for a dollar extra. My husband really enjoyed the noodle delight (rice noodles withbroccoli and spinach in a creamy peanut sauce). The restaurant is fresh, contemporary and new with an intimate vibe, plus theservice was excellent. There were a number of other tempting dishes listed on the menu that we will try on our next trip toSugarland. Read more
