Reviews for JINYA Ramen Bar - Sugar Land in Sugar Land, TX
This is our second time to this chain and first time to this location. Food was delicious but not the spice we requested but... it's okay. Will definitely go again and we like the Ramen. Prices went up and quantity is little less ( inflation time I guess). But I would advise if you increase price don't reduce quantity . Still give 5 for the taste . Read more
This place is my new fav. Place is modern and chic and they greet you before and after. The broth is amazing and the portion... size is just right and you can add extra toppings onto your bowl with extra charge. Keep in mind, the tables with booth arequite close to each other and the tables are bolt to the floor so, if you have people sitting next to you in the booth seat justcareful to get in and out. When you walk into this place, the subtle romantic lights along with greetings by the staff create a very Japan-like... culture! For this review I'm going very detailed! Broth - 4/5 Chashu - 4.3/5 Noodles - 4/5 Broth was rich in flavor whilealthough is does appear a bit greasy its not over the top while the veggies cut down the sodium Chashu had a good serving. Itlooked like it was grilled with a little char on it and very juicy. The bowl was arranged colorful and not overlypacked. Noodles were almost perfect!! (I been to Japan and this is extremely close to perfection) Superbly sluperable is howlike I'd like put it. It wasn't super thin nor thick noodles and cooked well. It had a nice snap to them. Wife had TonkotsuBlack w/ Hot Spicy while I had Tokyo Spice Medium Heat. I also had Tokyo Curry Over Rice on the side and chased it down with aSapporo Black. IMO this leaves a nice sweet coffee after taste, which allows me to clean my palette and go in for more rounds ofyummy delicious noodles! Ended the dinner with a decedent panna cotta and couldn't have asked for more!! ?(*´?`*)? Read more
There was no wait time, I was instantly seated even though it was busy. My server was so helpful of how I proceed to navigate... the menu, her cheerful personality and attention to detail was astronomical. My cup of water was never half empty. The ambianceof the restaurant was memorable. The karaage chicken I ordered was sublime. This appetizer is one of my favorite Japanesedishes, the reason why this karaage is #1 in my opinion is due to fact that the batter was seasoned to perfection, with what Ican tell is hint of black pepper and other seasonings while being deep fried with peanut oil. Which made me crave every pieceeven more, very addictive. The ramen broth was light in color, but somehow it was so flavorful along with a great selection ofthick noodles, the egg is a tricky ingredient to get right, yet again I was throughly impressed by the precision of the chefscooking the soft boil egg where it was slightly running that had a great median of texture. The (JINYA Tonkotsu Original 2010*Ramen) is a must if you have never been here before. If I'm ever back in the sugarland TX area, I know exactly what I want. 10?????? in my opinion Read more

There?s a lot of variety in ramen choices, including vegan choices. They also serve Impossible meat based items. The appetizers... also have some very good choices. The edamame is simply made and not spicy (hot sauce is available, at additional charge).Shrimp tempura was hot and delicious. The poke bowls are also good. Service staff is friendly and quick. We asked for morebroth and were given some (no additional charge). Read more
Nice and cute ramen restaurant on University, Sugar Land, TX. High school and college students work at this restaurant and... they?re always very polite and professional. I like that they rotate their menu with new offerings. Restaurant is always neatand the ambience is calming. Parking is an issue, but u?ll always find one if u?re willing to park to the sides of the buildingand not right in front of the building. Price is reasonable. Read more
