Reviews for Grimaldi's Pizzeria in Sugar Land, TX
This is one of my favorite pizza places. They will allow you to split your pizza according to your preference. I don't eat beef... or pork so my half was spicy chicken sausage cheese spinach bell peppers and mushrooms. My husband's side was every meat theyoffer plus mushrooms lol. This is a costly pizza spit, but I think it's worth it. The pizza is baked in a brick oven. Thebrushetta trio and ceaser salad is really great. They top it with shaved parm.. Check it out. Read more
I do not care HOW FAR I have to drive for *this specific* Grimaldi?s location, I WILL!! I have come to this specific location... for over 10+ years and it NEVER disappoints. This last weekend I took my father for Father?s Day, and our server Devon trulymade a positive dining experience after having a negative experience at the City centre Grimaldi?s location. All the staff hereis attentive, cordial, friendly, and go OUT of their way to make sure you are well attended to. Sugar Land Grimaldi?s is the #1reason I am still loyal to this restaurant and this specific location. I have lived out of state and in different cities, andout of all the Grimaldi?s I?ve dined at- THIS ONE TAKES THE CAKE! I just hope they get their AC fixed soon, it?s been a coupleoff months! Ask for Devon to be your server, Tristan and host staff are also attentive and friendly. Read more
Came here for dinner with my husband and we sadly were not very impressed with our experience. The service was extremely slow... and the restaurant was only maybe three quarters full during our dinner. Our waitress constantly forgot what we has asked forand had to have us repeat a couple of times. We started with a salad which was hineztly the best part of our meal by far. Greatfresh veggies and the vinaigrette was amazing. I ordered a Margherita pizza and my husband got a calzone. Neither was anythingspecial sadly. We ordered a cannoli and it too was a disappointment, it all tasted prepackaged which was a bit disappointing. Ioverall wouldn't suggest this place to anyone who likes a good crusty pizza or knows what traditional Italian food should tastelike. Read more
Delicious 16" Sausage, Pepperoni, Spinach, and green pepper pizza. Thin crust and not too much sauce. The Peach Margarita had... plenty of kick also. Read more
I ordered the pizza for pickup and they told me it would be ready in 45 minutes. I arrived after about 30 minutes and the phone... pizza was room temperature at pickup. We ordered extra mozzarella and there wasn't extra mozzarella on the pizza. If they callthis extra, then I would hate to see what regular looks like. The ingredients have great flavor, that's why I ordered extra, just need it throughout the entire pizza and add the extra when we pay for it. Read more
You guys have mastered pizza into another level!! Ever since I entered this place I felt a nice and calm atmosphere. Clean as it... can be. Our waitress was nice and friendly at all times. We didn?t had to wait too much to get our food, about 10 minutes orless, once we have ordered. Price range per person is 30 to 50 usd. Things that I loved, family next to us had 2 beautifulkids, they manage to give them pizza dough, they seemed so happy, I almost wanted to ask one for myself! There was just aslightly inconvenience we experienced, although we could see some empty tables, the hostess made us wait for a bit longer (about10 minutes), it was until I took some pictures that they assign us a table. Otherwise, everything was great. Read more
This was my first time going to this establishment and I didn't really have high expectations from it. I ordered this pizza... called "The Don", which is a tradition New York style pizza topped with Italian Sausage, Meatballs, and Pepperoni. I've been toa lof of pizza places in Houston, and I can say this is one of the three places(Luigi's & Frank's) that I would definitelyrecommend going to. I was really surprised with the quality of the pizza in terms of the crust, cheese, sauce, etc. It wasreally delicious since it cooked in a coal oven, which gives out that smoky taste. The balance in flavors have been consistent, that the dough and other ingredients complements each other perfectly. Our server, Destiny, was super nice with the orderingprocess. Overall from the customer service to food, it was an amazing experience. Like I said, I've been to lots of pizzaplaces, and I can say this tops well with Luigi's & Frank's in terms of quality and services. Read more
Staff is courteous and welcoming. Ambience is good. The pizza came out quick. Having pizza here will make you realize the... difference between fast food chains and a real authentic pizza place. Coal fired pit will definitely make a difference to thecrust. That generous olive oil drizzle and quality of cheese will make you devour the pizza in no time. Ahhh that feeling afterthe first bite! Absolutely mind boggling for pizza lovers!! Just keep on chugging until you go till crust. In short, worth avisit ???? Read more
